Hi, it's the 3rd amulet that disappeared right away after it was equiped to Varric. (my initial amulet received via the tutorial mission was missing after my first awakening in haven, thought that is may be story related items wipe after the tutorial or something like this) but the 2nd amulet was gone after given to cassandra as for I was looking for her equipment and was sure she had an amulet already, but it was gone. Seems some kind of a weird bug. Rest of the game is working fine.

 

Any ideas? Will have to take a look if they appear in the vendor screens. Because can't take them off in character inventory, slot seems empty. (can even equip a new one and risk the 4th lose of such a precious item. :<   )

If it's an amulet of power, it's meant to disappear? That or the respec amulets are the only ones I know that vanish after use.

Lifeward amulets break when the wearer's HP drops below zero and heals them.

You get such an amulet in the tutorial after walking up the frozen river.

It's like a one-use auto-potion in amulet form.

Also, the one you gave to varric - did you get it from one of the first war table operations? it gives

It gives varric an extra ability point to use and breaks upon equip
