Transfer characters between PCs?

Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer saved characters between computers? I'm not going to have access to my desktop at home for a good while and I want to play with my characters on my laptop.

Yes your characters save files are located in User/Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/Pre-release Characters folder. Slap them on a flash drive or intarweb file storage place of your choice and your good.

I imagine it would work if you just copy them over. It seems to store them (at least on my computer) in 'My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\Pre-Release Characters'. I haven't tried it, though.
