I've downloaded the game as I do not want to wait till Thursday/Friday, I have every intention of buying it still though.

1. Don't use that site, it's full of spyware.
2. I'd actually recromend to buy this game, just due to the part of BioWare's effort into this.

Each one will link you to a page on Xbox.com. Make sure you're signed in (use the same email that's on your Xbox 360).

Click "download" and a popup will come up showing you can download them for free. Do it. In your queue you'll see them listed, like this:



Now just turn on your Xbox 360. It';; download them and you can view them in your Active Downloads.

It depends on if they dropped the ball or not. Just because they can download content doesn't mean they can use it. Similarly I (and any other steam user) has the entire ME2 game downloaded as we speak, but it doesnt mean we can use it yet either.

Thats what I'm really hoping for. In either case, I sent an email to microsoft in the hope of them clearing up the issue, if it is an issue.

Edit: It also isn't very hard to patch the game to only allow verified DLC where as this is either unverified or has its own unique key that can be terminated.

You get it if you get a new copy of ME2 and download on the first day for free, along with some other goodies.

WOW this story(and links) are on IGN(they are practically encouraging this) now...many more will probl download now *facepalm*

That's because it's a spoiler and they weren't announcing it as the Normandy Crash site. However it was announced as a N7 mission.

At least this whole mix-up helps people forgive the whole RtO messup.

But the normandy got destroyed outter space, it didn't crash anywhere.. unless this happens after the incident.

they cant ban you for THEIR ****up, and they cant change the codes because everythings already shipped. win. epic win. makes up for the ****ty ending. they might be able to patch it out somehow but you could always just delete the patch and keep the content.

I hope that they either patch it out or decide to release it free on the PC version as well.

Would be slightly annoying for it to be free on Xbox but not pc.

It works ha ha! I doubt they'll ban any account for it as all the stuff you can download is free anyway and no one is losing money on it.

Uh... or just patch XBL in such a way that it does not let you use any ME2 files downloaded prior to patch. Since nothing has been installed besides files. So ME2 runs, connects to XBL, when it checks for updates, it will find one that is the delete wrongfully obtained data patch. And boom. Your back to square one.

oh well. i really doubt they can do much, at the most they can get rid of the content and ill still have my terminus/blackstorm when it comes out but theres no way they can ban this many people because of THEIR slip up. someones going to get fired over this
