So when is the patch coming?
There is no info of the time and what issues patch will fix, only that they are investigating problems and there is patch/patches coming.

I wouldn't call it smooth, not even close, but it's "playable." really that difficult to understand for you?
Really, why would I be lying anyway? That's just ridiculous.
I am having nearly the same experience as you are. Same PS3 setup. Agreed not the best way to play definitely "playable" enough( to tide over till or if you can get next-gen?). I don't get why this guy is being called a troll! IMO the real trolls are the whiners who are in denial that one of the main issue with the old-gen port is the inconsistent experience players are having. It's not like BW ( if they bother to read this) will just ignore the whole post if a few people are not having game breaking bugs, right? If anything it might help them analyze what's causing this disc vs digital or ps3 vs 360 instability. Peace out and stop bullying people. In the end we all want patches leading to better experience.

I think I have figured out how to solve the disc unreadable problem for the Xbox 360 (at least it works for me). Hope this helps others!
1) Uninstall the four downloaded Dragon Age Inquisition install files which are located in storage memory.
System>Storage>Hard Drive>Games and Apps>Dragon Age: Inquisition
2) Once all four files are deleted, go back out and hover over Hard Drive in the storage devices menu.
Press Y to bring up device options and select CLEAR SYSTEM CACHE to clear temporary files within the system. ***Do not click format!!***
3) Insert the install disc to reinstall the texture files.
4) Enjoy!

After an additional 30 hours, I have more issues. I was able to get the Warden mission to unfreeze enough to work by uninstalling and reinstalling the game. All the previous issues were still present.
On top of that when speaking to Morrigan, she claims the male hero is her sons father ...in the same breathe she refers to my actual female hero of ferelden. Just a bit odd to have her talking as if my non existent male hero was her current lover.
The dialogue still skips around, so I have to read the subtitles quickly. Rendering has gotten worse since I've progressed. Sometimes worlds or faces take forever to render during missions or conversations.
Call me stupid, but I hate the AI, the enemies are tough of casual and no matter what settings and tactics I use, my party still gets slaughtered. I did however, manage to kill a high dragon... that didn't have armour, lol. The one at the top of the tower and only because I could duck down the stairs, I think we need hidey holes so we stand a chance against them. I came so close to killing several other dragons only to have my party use up all of my health potions then die. Most annoying was from getting electro blasted into the poison hot springs,
I wish each party member had their separate stash of potions and not one bag they share since I only carry 12 health potions. on THAT note... WTF is up with the limited number of potions..so damned few? That's a joke in and of itself. I could see that being a restriction for nightmare mode but come on. It's hard to enjoy a story if you're constantly dying because you ran out of potions due to you're party sucking the bag dry.
I forgot to add, why in Gods name is the game so DARK it's nearly impossible to see in dungeons. Even with the gamma up and my TV settings to their brightest. It's a joke, turn it down and the desert is too dark, up too high and you're basking in holy light. I' mm constantly clicking the search button so I can fine stuff due to the inability to see in dungeons or inside any building. And why can't we map our on controller layout?

Well there is this: https://support.us.p...ting-a-refund#8 But they haven't listed there: game doesn't work properly. So you might have to ask if you can get refund or not by email or sth. I'm not sure if you can get refund though since PSN doesn't seem to have any unhappy with purchase- get your money back! -refund policy.

You addressed it by acting like a complete jerkass to someone else for no reason other than them having a slightly better experience than you, then you call them a troll when they try to defend themselves against your flaming. Then when someone else calls you on it, your response is "I already tried to drop it [by calling him a troll to disregard his posts], why do you bring it up again after I had the benevolence to leave him be after all my insulting?". There is a troll in this thread, and it's you.

So essentially what you're saying is you were super lucky and got a virtually problem-free experience. You are either lying/exaggerating, or were VERY lucky.
So you're either having an unusually smooth playthrough, or aren't having a smooth playthrough and are using a bit of white wash to make it sound better.
So essential what you're saying is that either you didn't understand or you didn't bother to read properly, a well articulated individual experience.(Laughingbanana)
So either you bully people who don't agree with you or randomly calling them "liars"? Either way you know what you are! A rage demon ![]()

There's a certain main quest involving the Templars that had me running around for at least half an hour. Why? It was literally impossible to see the path to progress without ratcheting up the gamma to maximum.
Did I mention said mission is on a timer?
Oh, yes. Fun.

Downplaying the gamebreaking glitches which many have experienced does not help achieve the goal of this thread, which is to get an official response from Bioware regarding a patch for game-breaking bugs. Perhaps we could share our bugs and crashes here and argue about their severity elsewhere, because it has already been clearly established that a substantial portion of the gaming population is unable to progress through the game
I agree but I don't think people have done it in this thread. People just have different kind of problems, some severe and some milder. There seems to be inconsistence of the game experiences and people in this thread have been reporting what they have went through and how severe they felt the problems were.
I have seeing some downplaying but it was in another threads mostly about that people shouldn't except better for last gen and they shouldn't even bought the game for last gen ![]()

Me and my girlfriend are having these bug issues as well. There is miniature freezing when walking along during the game. There are times in battle when either me or my girlfriend press the attack button and the main character may only throw off one attack and then the character stops attacking and then we have to repeatedly press the attack button to get it to attack again.
There is dialogue issues with in game characters be they NPC's or party members, mainly skipping of dialogue. There are also cutscene issues where people are talking and then they stop and the game freezes mid talk and we have to press the skip button to get the game to continue forward.
I posted this in another thread and I am not sure if it is a bug or a feature but it seems that unlike Dragon Age 1 and 2, in Inquisition when you speak to a character players don't get to see their faces. The only time we get to see their faces is either during a recruiting quest, Sera is an example, or after a player has recruited them and gone back to haven and get a up close and personal cut scene. After that all we get to see is two people from the side talking to one another.
In Dragon Age 1 and 2 this never happened. No matter if it was an NPC or a Party Member players always got to see their faces up close both the player character and the NPC or Party Member. Personally my girlfriend and I who enjoyed the first 2 games would like to see this feature return.

Playing on 360, and have experienced some bugs mentioned.
Bad glitches and bugs during the Cassandra romance scene and also in the Western Approach during the 'Here lies the Abyss' plot.
Banter and sometimes conversations become gibberish for a line or two.
I also have this annoying thin line that appears in all the cut scenes. It's not from my television.
Sound cuts in and out.
I also have this weird bug where when I kill an enemy it gets this green bar and turns nearly invisible, thus ending the combat, but it won't officially die until the green bar gradually declines.

I know the graphics and sometimes shiny hair, and weird dialogue, is a deal breaker for many people but I can live with all that -even the horrible text -white and caps? Ouch- but my own issue, as well as many others, is that once we try loading up our saves, we get past the card section of the loading screen and then a black screen with the little green/blue symbol in the corner . Hard freeze that requires a manual reset for all but my very first save. I could start a new game but I'm afraid it would happen again and I don't really want to lose my 25+ hour save without exhausting all other options first.

I'm trying to duplicate it, since I reloaded a one hour and half early save and went again in the hinterlands. So far I loaded the saves and they work. I'm off to bed now, so tomorrow I'll try to go to the location I was in (though I'm not sure it's necessary a location, since I had Two freezed saves, and one was 10 minutes earlier, not sure where I was) and see it bugs my save.
To be safe, save often in the hinterlands.

Really hope they patch it with some textures soon. I have the disc version for ps3 and honestly, it's one of the ugliest games I've ever had.
There's quite a lot of pop up,characters clip through scenery, their hair is super shiny and my inquisitor's beard is clearly not attached to his face in close up dialogue scenes/
It looks unfinished and honestly, DA has never been about graphics so I would normally let it slide but it's so damn bad, it looks worse than DA:Origins.

Honestly, I'm just glad they've said there's going to be a last-gen patch. I'm playing on 360 and was so worried that they wouldn't bother after getting all their Xbone and PS4 cash.
I really hope we get scars when they do patch it. And, y'know, working dialogue.
