Why?  I can't think of any other game I've played that does this, including other BW games, and they had no such syncing issue.

I've had a little bit of issues with some games, like Origins - I'd have entire cutscenes with no dialogue, but really loud SFX, despite the fact I always have the reverse setting. So I'd see lips moving, the subtitles chugging along, but nothing.

Some have had game breaking issues however like the constant lagging and freezing : /

And I've heard about that, yes. Legitimate concerns for anyone to have. In my experience with DA:O and DA2, that's usually a sign you need to re-install the game files. DA2 used to have crippling lag/freeze, especially during the Legacy DLC. Took a fresh install to make it work properly.

I've played origins multiple times and had no such issue.  I suspect many other people have as well.  DA2's dialogue is close to inquisition's than origin, and I've had no issue with that either.

The problems some people are experiencing aren't "minor". Party members falling halfway through the ground during conversations, textures taking several minutes to load in if they ever bother to do so, hair that looks like marker and looks worse than facial hair did on the PS2, textures that look worse than PS2-game textures even when they are fully loaded, data corruption, constant freezes, horrible lag and frame drops, audio and video not even syncing so sounds don't match up with what made the sounds... This is minor? Maybe if you're willing to swallow every turd that falls out of Biowares butt. Some of us have standards though, and DAI for PS3 doesn't match mine.

It's sad, some of what I've seen of the last gen versions of DAI actually does look worse than a lot of PS2 games. When there's PS2 games better looking than your PS3 game, there's a big problem there.

We get it, you want to play Kingdom Hearts, and it's remastered sibling - comparing a massive rpg, with character creator - 4 different races, 2 different genders, weapons and armor of varying complexity and design, spell effects, textures, and possibly more data in dialogue/sound files than most PS2 games in their entirety. Is hardly a fair comparison. Especially when I specifically listed people returning the game for *GRAPHICS*   reasons.

You don't know me from Adam, and I sure as rice pudding don't want to get to know you, if you attack people on wide, baseless assumptions.

I, for one, was willing to remain civil and talk to people objectively about this. Then you go and say:  Maybe if you're willing to swallow every turd that falls out of Biowares butt. Some of us have standards though, and DAI for PS3 doesn't match mine.

Good day sir, I said good day.

Could just have been an issue of corrupted game files - most problems were solved as I mentioned above in my other post, by a fresh re install.

I've known a few other people who've had an issue with it. But I'm certain that the majority of people have never experienced this, I'd assume.

I said that part because you're willing to excuse and defend Bioware clearly making a half assed attempt at making a game that actually plays well on last-gen consoles. Bioware didn't even try and they know it, it's why they made sure to never once release a single thing about the last gen versions and FLAT OUT LIE to their customers. Remember when they said the last gen versions would have all features of the other versions? Well the last gen versions don't let you put scars on your characters. So that right there is a bold faced lie. And you're defending them. Yeah, that really is swallowing Bioware poop and telling them it tastes like strawberries. I said it like it is.

Well, as I am a dirty, filthy, traitorous master race to peasant convert that is an issue I wouldn't have encountered.

I'll put "re-instaling game files" as one possible solution for time being, maybe that helps people out.

Hehe, I play on console as well as PC, and most my issues were on my console version. Typically on the downloaded/Digital one, playing via disk gives me little trouble except the inevitable freezing. XD

Well, it's one way to try - I don't know what would fix it for most people.

What we know for sure is that some people are having more issues with their game than others. What we don't know is why it's that bad for some players, and not everyone. That's the weird thing.

Some people say that their character's hair is too shiny, but when I made mine that wasn't the case (it had a sheen to it but it wasn't as bad as what I have seen)

I'm willing to make another character and see if the second time does anything different, I'll even try facial hair. I'll let you guys know what I get.

Ironically, my copy of origins and DA2 is digital, while DA:I is a hard copy.

That is going to be the case with me, hopefully soon (As I don't have DA:I In my hands), my friend has it on PS4 though, lucky turd.

That'd be great, I'm probably going to do some intensive workouts with it, tattoos, hair, complexions. The whole, nine yards.

My main issue is loading times. Like wtf? 1 minute long load is not ok in 2014.

Yeah, every Platform suffers from long loading time.

It wouldn't bother me so much if EVERY load was like that.  Even a cutscene load for the same spot I'm in, like the first boss took a good minute to load.  That seems a little silly.

Sorry I barely notice this 2014 or not play elder scrolls morrowind for a year+ and talk about a minute load time...( not nagging, simply stating)

Chiming in to say oh God, can we please get a patch for the tiny, tiny type? I'm hard of hearing and dependent on subtitles, playing on PS3, and had to rearrange my living room to get close enough to read the teeny, tiny subtitles, not to mention the HUD's quest info in the upper right corner.

Hopefully they can at least correct the texture issues and performance problems.

Hey there!

I have DA:I for the PS3 too and though the graphics thing irritates me, it's still not unbearable for me... What gets me though it the fact that the sound never quite matches up and I can CLEARLY see a HUGE difference between my game and my friend's (who's gaming on the PS4)... I realize that the PS3 simply can't deal with the hugely better graphics, but by the seven Hells, it looked like I was playing Mass Effect: Brown edition at some point... Everything was kinda... clunky...

Anyway, still willing to ignore it (for now) since I want to play the game but don't have the money to upgrade to next gen. I'm sad that the textures for the character's faces (including the NPC'S) looks so horrible though... The only major issue I have is really the sound bugs...

Everything else (like dissapering into the ground, random people popping in and out of the background and such) are just glitches I was expecting at a newly released game... I mean, every game had glitches in the beginning so far, think of Skyrim, where it started to become funny after a while *gg*

Regards, CarrionFowl

PS: Sorry if I didn't seem THAT coherent, I'm still nursing my first coffee after I gamed almost the entire night away *gg*

I play TES on PC so loading is ~15-20 sec. Tried Skyrim on XBOX360 tho, it was painful and sad.

I wonder what they're going to fix. Just the obvious bugs? Or the texture popping, too? The textures themselves?

Looking at the pictures of people's inquisitors and then looking at my 360 graphics made me REALLY sad inside. Not that I'm complaining about graphics too much, but... MAN do I need a next gen console (or to have just bought the game for PC.)

First game in a long long time that i have been truly disapointed in. I pulled a Will Smith "aw hell naw"when on 360 i tried putting a beard on my inquisitor. I didnt expect a+ graphics. I expected at least da2 graphics and based on developer comments it was a huge letdown. Maybe its a disc vs digital download problem but this right now is not low pc specs. People on 360 should compare da2 varric to da3 or even wardens from dao to da3 inquisitors

Ive played skyrim(yes i went there) on a mac and on 360 and the graphics blow this away nevermibd low endpc. This should have been as good or better.

Hard to see loot on ground(using sonar and roleplaying it as a side effect). Im ok with clipping and other bugs as im used to bethesda. I dont recall da2 having this mess and i preordered that as well
Problem is i bought into ths game big time. Watched character creation videos and followed every tweet and morsel throughout each day.

Plopped in game and time traveled back into 11-3-2009. I truly truly want to love this game. Hopefully they fix this
