Thank goodness I'm not the only one with issues with the text quality. I was beginning to think my eyesight was going! D:

Only issue I have is small text. I have not gotten to far in the story tho as I have been exploring and what not. It just seems that the text is so small I have to sit really close and it's still not perfect. I hope I don't get an bugs that makes the game not let me do a quest. That would make me so sad :(. I saw a funny bug when talking to a quartermaster someone in the background zoomed by haha.

I'd like to be able to install the play disc to my HDD so it isn't constantly spinning in the tray and wearing down my 360.

Install would be nice. I wonder why we can't. Or do digital download.

well as always, i ALWAYS do a investigation first before buying a game (specially from bioware which is known to have alot of issues within release ) so im no new here, but going to the point, im gonna get the ps3 game version for obvious reasons ( dont have a ultimate pc and i'm not gonna buy a ps4/xb1) so i gotta take what i can which is ps3 version, so ive read the whole thread and it sure looks like the "old" gen got dumbed down alot hardcore chuck norris style? when i read about the glitches, graphic issues, freeze, no scars option in the character creation, it made me think that i should wait and see till bioware does a patch if they even do a patch to solve alllllllllllllll the issues listed in this thread , and im sure we all hope they actually do that and not just pick a few to fix, its still a 65 to 70$ game depending where you at but you are paying money for something that you wanna play nice and smooth enough , not clunky and frustrating, i love you all  :D lets hope eaware, i mean bioware does something right this time, i dont want another ME3 situation again or any of the previous Dragon ages issues too.

If only they had shown us some screenshots for last gen. That would be appreciated a lot. Alas! I am one of those who still waits to play the game on PS3 (only 7 hours left). So I still can't put in my individual view on this topic but from what it looks I won't be "dissapointed" cause I already read almost every negative comment on last gen gameplay. I bought it already however and I will play it and try to get as much enjoyment as I can. But all in all I think the developers should have chosen the path of Witcher 3 and never worked on last gen versions in the first place. That would have saved all of us a lot of trouble. Because if they kept it only for next gen then I could think of getting a PS4 in the near future or something. Besides we still have no idea what those so called patches will be for (cause there are tons of issues) or when they will come out. Last but not least, I will never pre-order a game again. I learned my lesson.

lol i learned my lesson with ME3 , which is why i didnt preordered this time for Dragon age inquisition, when i saw the inquisition game i was like okay this looks nice, and the reviews i saw and previews made me wanted to get this game for sure, but after reading all the issues that its having on the "old" gens it looks like its telling me to hold my horses and wait till bioware releases some kind of patch which i hope they do , to fix all the issues listed here and who knows, there might be plenty more issues to come :/ seems like they didnt really put that much love into the ps3/xbox360 versions and just rushed them all over.

Actually I don't usually fell for that kind of excitement and rush things with games but they really made people want this game so bad with all those fairly succesful marketing ways. Anyways, all those misleading promises they made about the last gen actually doesn't make me feel cheated since the game dev world is not the way it used be. Most of the games rush their release dates and use the gamers as test drivers. But still one wants to believe and hope to get what they expect. Games should make us forget our mundane problems not add new ones. I just hope they remember that golden rule. Still I'll try to stay positive and look out for those patches.

The text is my biggest problem. As soon as they fix this I'll actually be able to play. But with bad eyes there's no way for me to. Really dropped the ball on this one Bioware. I thought you learned from ME2...

I'm playing on PS3 (disc version!) and I've only had one freeze in over 24 hours worth of playtime.  And that kinda felt like my fault, because I accidently opened a shop window multiple times in row trying to jump too close to it.  And it was in that area north of Haven with a ton of fighting and smithing npc animations going on (I always save before going into that area, just in case...)  But that's it.  The game is remarkably stable for the size of it.  (And no doubt the lo-res graphics, which aren't so terrible, play a significant part in that.)

I think my biggest criticism is that I would have preferred the "jump" and "basic attack" buttons to be switched around.  But that's not gamebreaking either.

This is quite upsetting...
I feel like everyone on the last gen consoles kinda got thrown under the bus. I mean... I usually don't judge a game on it's graphics but it is just so distracting from the experience. In the opening sequence everyone with hoods had their ears popping out of the sides, on and off during a conversation. I mean it's comical but I don't want that kind of comedy for hours on end. The textures are really terrible most times. They clip in and out, and everyone mostly looks like their faces are melting at their eyes, and are covered with a smooth slime. Not to mention Cassandra flew off the screen while talking to me, and I heard her voice trail off as she drifted into space.
I mean glitches are glitches, I can totally forgive them! But all of this at once is so distracting! I'm trudging though trying to pretend it looks nicer and my characters eyes are not seeping from my skull, and everyone doesn't have a butter face. Some people are even a blur! Completely broke the immersion...
I feel sad...
I really hope SOMEONE that can DO something sees this thread!

I mean... please! An HD pack or something!!

HELP US BIOWARE. :(

Yup, those guys.  They fight in pairs, individually there's 30 of them.  And also other soldiers hanging out around them.

The only problems I have experienced are the texture and sound problems, I think they should release a texture update 360 and PS3 just like BF4 had since both games use frostbite 3.

The font size is EXTREMELY small. I have to sit on the floor about 3 feet away from my tv to play.......I hope this is an issue that can be fixed via patch.

The game is huge, and I feel like I've gone to Dragon Age heaven.  Everything feels more alive than the past games, and despite the fact that I often begin battles by jumping because I haven't adjusted to the new basic attack location, I'm actually having more fun with the battles than the past games as well.  I had some concerns about the battle system, but now that I'm actually playing with it, it's working for me.  There is so much stuff to do, you don't even know.  Speaking of which, because I didn't realize the thing I crafted earlier on would be any good, and I gave it a stupid name...  Solas is now the proud bearer of the "IDEK" armor.  And I'm loving the npcs...even Cullen (I may need an exorcism).  It's been more than worth it for me.  But the graphics are definitely not the glorious stuff you see for the next-gen versions and high-end PC.  Which I expected, but apparently not everyone did.  I still think it's pretty for what it is, but that's me.
