Sticking to these ideals is getting us blown off while being more arrogant and boisterous has gotten the PC community more attention.
Perhaps a change of tactics is in order.
The problem is that tactic ends up fostering resentment among both parties. The goal shouldn't be to force them to get the patches out right this instant, or you'll continually demean something they put 3 years of their lives into; trying to push their buttons until they crack and give in to your demands.
The game has glitches, yes. Some of these glitches are a big problem, sure. Even if they aren't acknowledging them in these forums, doesn't mean they aren't looking in to the issues however. Continually bashing their product and attempting to demoralize them like some have been doing, isn't the answer. Regardless of how effective or ineffective it may be, it's only going to create more of a schism between the devs and the consumers in the end.
There still are, what, 2 more patches we're aware of on the way right? And from the looks of the topic on the subject, there seems like there's going to be multiple waves to it. Should these have been fixed prior to release? In a number of cases, yes. I'm not entirely sure though they would've caught all of these even if they had had more time. You can rant all you want about the volume of people having gamebreaking issues on this forum. However, that seems to be only on here. A vast majority of players outside of the forums have been able to play the game without much incident. Not even all of us who are using last gen systems are experiencing gamebreaking bugs. (I've come across 1 and that ended up sorting itself out) I'd wager that even if they had bugtested by themselves for another couple months they still wouldn't have come across all of the bugs that people are reporting on here. Simply put, they didn't have access to the type of numbers that they do now. It's unfortunate that people are experiencing issues. But it's no reason to strain relations between the audience and the devs even further.
The best thing anyone can do is to present their problems in a calm and collected manner; and just continue to remind them of the problems you're having, and how your game is being impacted.
