I did very angry post to PC community thread quoting Mark Darrah, Conal Pierse and Allan Schumacher. Maybe they will react that way, maybe not. I'm just so tired with this bullshit: http://forum.bioware...rns/?p=18081351

Does someone know email of Bioware? I think I should sent it there too. Maybe someone finally wakes up and realises how poorly they treat their customers.

I played for 4 hours straight today with the new patch and it was enjoyable overall.

The graphics......oh the graphics, absolutely horrible. Clutter looks like PS1 and Xbox quality, all the characters especially Lelianna look horrible, Varric looks like he's wearing a floating wig, I can see under his hair from some angles. The worst by far are the fade tears, they look like pixelated square blocks from Minecraft or something, just horrendous. Experienced some minor glithes, like an object on a shelf dissapearing when I move then reappearing when I stop. No major glitches.

Audio is fine, only had a minor anomaly when picking a herb.

Performance is good, lags a bit when lots of effects are going off in battle. I turned off connecting to servers and sending data like some suggested. maybe that helped.

No glitches or bugs aside from npcs sliding when moving instead of their animation playing, happened twice with different npcs.

Some hair is insanely shiny, theres one Templar women outside haven where Cass and Cullen are and her hair could set forests on fire its so shiny.

Its playable with the patch, just very sad the graphics are so bad.

I do still regret buying it, especially that I bought the digital deluxe. I could have bought the pc since my laptop can run it but would I have been happier? Who knows.

Hopefully future patches fix it further, I really am doubtful we will ever see graphical improvement.

Were you getting the disc unreadable error before the patch?

I'll worry about the 360's graphics problem after they make is possible to play the freaking game.  This disc unreadable error crap is inexecusable.  Almost a month gone by with people discussing the issues both here and at the EA help site and the best (and so far only) thing they've come up with is 'have tried exchanging the disc?".

Yup, I'm in the same boat.

Just let Conal Pierse know about the email I've sent to Metro Magazine's gaming dept- (they accept reader stories about gaming news). I also tweeted their lead writer Dave Jenkins. Suggest that you write to the folks at Metro too at gamecentral@ukmetro.co.uk

'Hi there Conal, just sending this to the gaming pages of Metro...

"Hi there, I'm writing not so much to try and get an article published but to point out that currently Bioware is currently ignoring a growing number of disgruntled people on their own forums regarding major issues with DAI. Dragon Age Inquisition may be a contender for game of the year, but currently it doesn't work at all on a large number of old generation consoles and they are attempting to bury this story rather than deal with the problem.

Due to a disc unreadable error on the xbox 360 and various other errors on the ps3 platform many gamers are finding that their copy is crashing every ten minutes or so. On this forum, http://forum.bioware...-issues/page-39   which has over 28,000 views people are trying to get any answer from a company which is currently ignoring thier tweets, facebook messages etc. I myself contacted Conal Pierse, who then asked me to go into great detail explaining what the problems I was having with the game- you can read our exchange here: http://forum.bioware...&st=0#msg226086

However since patch 2 was released satisfying many of the pc and some of the new gen consoles bugbears they have decided to try and sweep the list of old gen problems under the carpet. This isn't just a question of a few glitches, this is a game which currently cannot be played at all and which they are still selling to a public who has no knowlege of this. I'm contacting you as independent journalists in the hope you may be able to highlight this issue. Cheers!"

Hope we can get these issues resolved. Thanks!'

I wonder if I'll get a reply, this time?

Also don't forget to give it a 'glowing' review at Amazon- with a link to this thread...

according to vgchartz

PS4: 470k

PS3: 130k

Xbox One: 230k

Xbox 360: 140k

PC: 180k

digital sales not considered http://www.vgchartz....ge-inquisition/

Thanks for this link.

Ok so the PS4 is outselling all others.I expected it.However, I didn't expect the PC version to sell less than Last-Gen consoles combined.(I know we still need to consider the digital sales which will probably add a t least 100k more but still...)

About 270k copies (PS3+Xbox360) which is even more than the XBox One copies.AAssuming the game keeps selling day by day on last-gen,we'll soon have  300k people who got a 'broken' game and Bioware is not really doing anything about it...You guys know how much money they made out of last-gen copy sales? Assuming the copies cost 60 dollars.Do the math...They made a lot of money.

I just hope they fix the major bugs ,at least the very serious ones which can damage the consoles like the hard resets or the problems with corrupted game saves.Imagine having put 70 hours into it only to have it disappear.

If you check my earlier posts, I don't own the game but had the intention to get it for Christmas along with a cheap Xbox360 console that is why I am participating in this thread and in contacting Bioware about it.I still want to get it but I'll wait a few months until the company fixes the game a bit or else I'll just watch it on Youtube and play it in 2-3 years from now when I upgrade.

Although the digital version sells a lot more than the physical on PC, old gen versions still have expressive numbers, let's hope they'll put more effort on these after holiday season. Also, if you're buying a new xbox 360 maybe you could test the game in the store to see if it works, even if you're not going to buy it at the moment. I'm lucky this game is running fine on my xbox 360 and the only big problem remaining for me is the texture quality, in some parts of the game the graphics don't look good with pop ins, but in some areas they are beautiful

No I haven't. I have heard from the old gen thread on Answer EA  and they didn't help at all them when asking about problems. However I don't have any particular problem they could solve, the major problems can be only solved by BW, they need to patch them. Which they haven't done since they are so busy with PC.

Well I was excepting more raging answers from PC players so it was nice to not got those. However what I needed is answer from BW, the guys who I replied to not the PC players. They have their own problems, I get that, I just want BW to dedicate some time to us as well. Sadly, I haven't had answer from BW people yet and I doubt I'll, they have been ignoring me weeks ^^;

If I buy the Xbox I'll try to test it at the store if I can.All the stores I've been too only have the new consoles for people to test like PS4 and XBOX One.I doubt I 'll be able to test it.If I do ,I'll post my results.

On the same note I wanted to know, how does this game run on the latest 2013 XBox360 models with the 500GB HD.Does it run better?

Which Xbox360 do you have?

Mine is a 2009 model. I don't know how is the game doing on the latest models, probably good due to newer disc drive models. It would be good to have here the console's manufacture date of those who are getting the disc unreadable message

Yes, I agree. It would have been helpful to know the manufacture date.

I am really itching to know what kind of glitches happen on the 2013 model.

I'll be buying the console most probably this week. But I won't get the game just yet until we have any news from other people and Bioware. I might try to rent it though, if I find it somewhere.Few blu-ray/dvd stores do game rentals any more and as far as I've seen  they have new-gen games. But I'll try to look for a place.

No, thankfully I have not experienced it and I am running from discs. Ive played about 14 hours now with no major issues, lots of little issues though. The garbled dialogue is very annoying but it usually only lasts for a sentence, it has happened 4 times.

Zero crashes or freezes to date.

So 270k / 1.15 mil is almost one quarter of people playing this game. Not a negligible portion of gamers. The PC community represents a smaller proportion of people playing this game, and yet their concerns have been very directly and vocally addressed... what gives? Are we not being loud enough? I understand the logic of prioritizing resources toward the newest generation, but ignoring one fourth of your fanbase is a pretty bold strategy...

I think it's best not to compare those consoles sales to the PC ones, since the digital version numbers are not included on vgchartz and they have huge impact on this platform. To be honest, I'm impressed physical copies of PC games still sells this much.

Does hair quality add that much stress to frame rate. Why do our followers have better hair quality.

Created a brown haired bearded dwarf last night . Parts of hair are shiny, parts look like he put peanut butter in it, right side is partly longer than left. We have a ton of complexion choices but the difference is barely there . Other strange things like ear spike but i love the rest

First rpg where im not sure i want dlc. Bought almost all previous dragon age dlc

Havent played full game but is having a beard now very rare for npcs? Blackwall is the only one ive seen so far

So since the game was patched I've logged in about 20 hours. Performance overall is great, only had one crash and maybe three audio glitches. Graphics are a problem at times without a doubt but the majority of the time I think it looks fine or maybe I just got used to the jaggies. Certain textures are perpetually awful without a doubt; facial hair and snow spring to mind. The text size is still a bit of a problem, I enlarged the screen a little and sat closer as a compromise and that works but there really should be an option to enlarge it.

That's about it for my technical complaints. The game itself is fantastic - great synergy of my favourite things about DA:O and DA2 and huge amounts of content. If you haven't started playing I think you definitely should start now unless the text is completely unreadable for you. I'll probably buy the game again pre-owned on PS4 when I eventually upgrade to experience it as it was intended.

You can check your xbox manufacture date on the sticker in the back near the ports. It's not important to state if it is elite or arcade model since the optical disc drive version depends on manufacture date only

So tempted to start a Bioware Old Gen bingo. Some of the squares are going to be "buy a new TV", "upgrade your console", "buy a new disc", "[complete silence]/free space", "not our problem" and more! Also available as a drinking game!

3 weeks later, 360 version still ****** unplayable due to an issue that should've been solved in QA. Incredible.

Out of all the things I'd expected to bond with people over, an unplayable game on an old gen console isn't what I expected. Happy holidays/merry Christmas/happy Hanukkah/happy Kwanzaa/happy non-denominational scene everyone!

Anyone got any patch news? I got nothing so far.
