Clearly we are not getting through to BioWare. Maybe they think these are not major problems and that they only effect a small group of players? I know we're all pissed off, but we need to start to think rather than just vent. We should organize ourself and launch a campaign, bringing the problems with Dragon Age Inquisition on first gen consoles into focus. And we need to support each other if this is going to work. A few angry people throwing insults around won't help much. But if we use Twitter, Facebook and threads here and on that EA forum, and each and every one of us post what console we're playing on and a list of the glitches and problems, we might get them to listen.

What do you think? Isn't it at least worth a try?

The problem might be that we seem to be unable to get enough people in the campaign to BW to recognize it. They just keep ignoring us, we have tried from here to reach them in various social media ^^ However if someone wants to do campaign and has good idea on it, I'm all for it, I just don't have much time to organize anything at the moment ^^

Mmmm we need a plan and stages so everyone can know how and what to do so...

maybe

Step 1: create a message we all can use, the first message from here might be a good one.
Step 2: Gather up people and get EVERYONE we can to drop the message in their FB and in any other places we can (we`ll need a list and im not sure how many have twitter)
Step 3: (need ideas)

lets make it happen people :)

I've posted a new thread here, listing some of the issues and problems we as a community are dealing with: http://forum.bioware...-on-xbox360ps3/

Feel free to leave a reply and add to the list if you feel that I have missed anything. And if you all would like to help out by using social media like Twitter and Facebook and so on, I am sure that together we can make BioWare take notice and come up with a fix for at least some of our problems. Please keep your tone civil and polite. I know we're all angry about being more or less ignored by BioWare but using swears won't help.

I'm not even surprised that we haven't had another official bioware post since I last visited (computer had a minor malfunction), so I'm going to be optimistic kind of and chalk it up to being the holidays.

Another good idea would be if you know any potential friends or associates who are probably getting DAI for 360 or PS3 this Christmas, warn them about the possible glitches, both minor and game breaking, and if they have a problem come to this thread or whatever.

If you have accounts on other social networking/microblogging/forum sites, I would also recommend posting this thread around as well.

You have a chance to have their hears, at least. I'm not in a country with english as main language and I am sure nobody will relay our legitim claims in our own language.

I don't have Facebook too, so I can't spam their page.

The biggest problem here is the silence. This absolut, PRish, Damage Controlish silence. Don't know if it is the same in America, but in my country, a guy that says nothing when a customer is disapointed get not only a bad reputation. He get his/her customer furious.

Bioware, at least, say you have a "todo" list in the startingblocks, say what you are working after nowadays? If the next patch for the PS360 gen will be a better shop for real money of the multiplayer, things will turn ugly.

Oh, and stop to come here to say "stay polite will ya!". We are fans for the whole world here and everybody is not a scaredy cat working in a office and staying in the shadow when the moneygod say something. Some of us are pure countryside barbarian attemping to not destroy their keyboard while typing their legitim claims. In fact, you are gifted to have so calm fans and so righthearted customers. Because you don't have a second chance to finish your work in all the other works in all the different country of all the world. A normal worker would be fired. Really.

And don't ever dream to say "everybody do the same things, so it is fine!". CDProject Red will present The Witcher 3 next year. If he is bugless, you will be a chicken, for sure.

And for sure it will miraculously solve all our problems. Especially the graphic ones. The ones that the devs have admitted they can't fix cause they're memory dependent and the game is a horribly tight fit to the old gen consoles. Are we being a little naive, or....?

I can live with the textures being glitchy, but what makes me boil is the fact that the dialouge-wheel during quest related banter never highlights. That and the eerie silence during exploration and fghting. I'm getting some banter and some music at least, but for the most part this game, to me at least, is very quiet.

Here comes the time to ask the fans.

Are you for a slow buggy mess but with good graphics or a downerfed game with perfect mechanics?

The look or the content?

Witouht any doubt, I will choose the content. Turn down some shaders, cut the rain animation, bring fewer NPC in Skyhold... but give us a good and mesmerizable moment!

I'm a veteran player and one of my favorit RPG is Suikoden. Poor graphics but incredible story, lot of badass character, giant customizable HQ... Yeah, the very first Suikoden released on PSX give the players a better HQ than the Skyhold! If you make a perfect or almost perfect game mechanic you will gain at the same time the perfect base for the next DA game! Stop looking at the SFX and make your hands dirty with oil and grease!

Content, no doubt. Awesome graphics is great, but honestly I didn't fall in love with Dragon Age Origin because it looked great (it didn't because it was quite old the first time I played it). I fell in love with the amazing story, the characters and the world. That is what I want from Inquisition. I want that feeling of being a part of an epic adventure, rather than grinding my teeth over music glitching and fading and cut scenes freezing and the game going mute, and the interactivity being less than interactive.

My Xbox 360 seems to freeze up after I use the 1 silver option to re-spec. I am also having problems on multiplayer where the camera angle tends to get locked in very close to me during some fights.

I see some people here reporting problems that are present across all platforms. It would be good for the message template as well for this topic only to report old gen exclusive issues, or else we'll keep getting little attention

I don't quite follow you. If the problem is effecting the game played on my Xbox360 and it's also an issue on PC, I shouldn't post it here?

I don't think so, there are some major problems that need more attention than some little ones I've seen here. Some people couldn't even start the game on both ps3 and 360. Plus, the majority of those "minor" issues are already being taken care of and we have no idea if they are even trying to fix old gen problems

How do I find out if my problems on Xbox360 also effects other platforms? And some of the stuff I am struggling with I wouldn't call minor. And none of them have been fixed. I still don't get banter more than very rarely or music. None of the workarounds work very well, none of them fixes the issue. The game goes completely mute as soon as I go to Val R. Dialouges during cut scenes freeze and the dialouge wheel during interactive quest related banter never highlights. Like I've posted earlier, I can live with glitchy textures and even with the music fading but I would want to play a game that at least have some sound and if the dialouge wheel is suppose to be highlight it should.

Well it's kinda hard to know. I haven't kept up with PC nor new gen threads either but I know that they are going to do something for party banter bug. Hopefully the solution just reaches all platforms.

I haven't keept up with the issues with PC either. Other than the fact that BioWare seem to have adressed some of the glitches and bugs for the PC-version. You saying that they will try to fix the banter bug is the best news I've gotten all day. I hope the fix is for all platforms. :)

No, I'm not good with having an INKLING WORSE EXPERIENCE than what was advertised and promised, fullstop. I am well aware that the performance isn't going to be X1 quality, but it can bloody well be x360 quality. And I couldn't care less what the engine's called and why they chose that one instead of another. I want a reasonable money's worth out of my experience.

I'm not very into technical stuff either ^^; As console gamer I'm used that I buy the game on shop and it will work like it should when I put it in the console. I also except it to be PS3 quality since that's the platform I'm using :)

We are on PS3 and Xbox360. This hardware must be totally and completely known by the guys working at Bioware. No change of hardware possible so we don't have any problems of compatibility with some graphic card, OS or quadri-core stuff. We can't tune our console to make the game run smoother, like lowering the rendering of textures or cutting some SFX. Everything is in the hands of the Bioware staff.

For now, they are petting their PC fans with threads like "PC Community Concerns" in the "News and annoucement" subforum. On the other hand, PS360 gamers can't do a thing to try to force the game to run and MUST wait that Bioware make his first move. And the first move will be saying something like "Read you loud and clear, working on the patch, wait for several weeks please!". And the only thing we get was "Shut up!"

It's sad, but if we don't write frequently, they might totally forget about us.

Would more threads help do you think? Or would they just drown in the horde of other threads?

I can live with the subpar graphics, though I expected this game to be functional at least. While it doesn't look great compared to today's standards, I still enjoy playing ocarina of time on the N64. Gameplay and especially story are more important to me. This game has been freezing and lagging even after the patch so it's been difficult to enjoy either the gameplay or story. I defended Bioware for DA2. I liked it despite it's flaws. This situation however is unforgivable. Please either fix your product or kindly give a full refund.

A massive thread with constant update stay in the top of the list of threads and will have a better impact. We can't ignore something that is glued in the face. ;)

OK, it's just my opinion anyway, but keep in mind that there are a lot of people that couldn't play the game for five minutes
