I'm worried of the "corrupt saves" and other game breaking things. 

 

I'm really sorry to put you down hard, but I just look at it from my point of view, restrospectively. I wanted this game SO MUCH you can't imagine. I've been waiting for it ever since patiently, the same I had been waiting for the new Fable. However, microsoft had the DECENCY to come up and say "sorry folks the new Fable is xbox 1 only, we're promoting our new console". I was disappointed, but I thought it a fair statement. I told myself, OK when i ever have money to buy an X1 I'll get that too. But DA:I was promised for all consoles, with stupendous graphics and advertised cutscenes and you name it, without anyone ever even hinting that they would have to chop down half the graphics quality to make the game work on old gen consoles. If I had been told, I would have refused it, and waited to get it for the X1 too, like Fable. But we were deceived because EA wants a money grab out of this like they did with Sims4 released earlier in 2014 in bare skeleton game state almost. But even with SIMS4 we knew that it was released in bare skeleton state, and it was OUR CHOICE to either buy it skeleton state or wait. We never had that option for DA:I. We were plainly jerked off. And I don't like anyone else except myself jerking me off, see, that's why I'm furious. Just wanted to apologize here is all for telling you not to.

It's really sad for us, you know. We are fans of the game, we loved it (when he was working) but we can't ask other people to buy it. We don't know if you will be gifted by purchasing a game that works well and suffers only minor problems or if you will be doomed by a game refusing blantly to start at all!

The best answer will be "Wait and see". After several other patches, maybe the game will be enjoyable on old-gen consoles. As a low-budget-gamer myself, I encourage you to wait so you will have the game at lower price too.

Well someone had kinda solution to corrupted saves.. it was to never use auto-saves and save always in the new save (not over previous save) and keeping removing older saves. Usually people just have once or twice corrupted save, only few have those often ^^

If you check out the EA EULAs for the USA they make it pretty clear that they make no warranty that the game they sell will work. (For the PC it's Section 8.) I don't claim to know what distinctions, legal or otherwise, are in place for consoles worldwide nor do I claim to think the EULA is consumer-friendly. However, it is a clear statement from the publisher regarding that for which it will accept responsibility.

In Europa, we have a special clause for abusive EULAs and this one looks totally like it. "We sell you a full-price item and don't garanty it will work"? Nope, totally abusive! Like I said before, with the rise of DLC content locked in the disc, the games companies have lost a lot of lobbying weight. We are facing players that can not use their product at all. Try to imagin that with a car constructor that sells beautiful cars with lot of engines or brakes issues? It is not because it is a digital work that they got superior rights over their customers.

ETA: Here in the States the Internet is often referred to as "The Wild West" in recognition of a lawless frontier. Have you encountered that phrase in this context before?

Just saw an intresting face-off on eurogamer they are now doing last gen faceoffs (finally) and guess what? They dont talk about the bugs or anything, im really starting to think EA has paid these companys off, all they say is "its not as good as new gen" yeah no *hit!

I am fine with the graphics not being as nice as the PC/PS4/XBone, it's just how it is given the graphical leaps and what those systems can do compared to the previous gen.  What I am not fine with is a game, that we paid as much as those, that crashes constantly, freezes at any given moment, text so small you have to be inches away from your screen to read the subtitles, codex, quest journal, etc., I am still in the early stages of the game, after buying it in Nov and haven't played because of the crashing and freezing.  I have a newer PS3 if that matters.

 

I am also disappointed in the gaming sites who wrote all about the issues of the ending of ME3, but didn't bother to report on the quality of DA Inquisition.  Thanks for the heads up, guys!  I knew that most new games, these days, have their share of bugs.  Just not this much that prevents us from actually playing.  Going on what their reviews said I went with buying the game, thinking no news or trouble reports on the previous gen. meant that it should be fine.  Sure this is all first world problems and no I am not losing sleep over this.  But... thanks for taking my money for a game that should have been playable from the getgo.

Here, the web is more likely the jungle : the stronger eat the weak. We had some scary times where a political guy sued the commenters of a youtube video where he says a bunch of lies (in the same video we saw that he lied). So, the law is only for the strong ones. But the Europeen Court of Justice is not of the same barrel.
