Yeah, just added my penny's worth too.

 

You're just too subtle mate, hell no I am not going to be polite to people being arrogant and dismissive and telling us it's "our choice", we "should know what you were getting" and that it's "our fault". Definitely not.

Maybe Panda should also add https://twitter.com/angryjoeshow, https://www.facebook.com/goangryjoe to the list of people we should be pointing this out to. I wrote to the Metro gaming section- gamecentral@ukmetro.co.uk With that last one they published it on their online page- but hadn't heard complaints from others- so please write to them too. I also registered the issue over at microsoft xbox's troubleshooting page- I'm thinking we need to  not only tell Bioware but others outside the company- so they know there is publicity spreading about how bug free their game is on the old gen.

Just wrote on angry joe's timeline... have also put a message in a bottle and tossed it out to sea. However if you were stranded on a desert island and 100 bottles washed up- you'd read one, wouldn't you? I'm trying to say, send a message to him! Something that starts like this perhaps, - "Help me Joe, you're our only hope! Bioware are ignoring a large number of old gen customers who can't get Inquisition to work at all on their consoles- even ignoring their own forums. "-so he notices it's a 'thing' that people are banding together on this, then sign off asking him to look into it in a personal style- so he knows I haven't got an army of secret facebook message bots. Anyway it's an idea- or maybe I'm tired after work...

Well I sent it to his twitter too, so whatever's the preferred method. That's the trouble with having an old gen console- no-one famous or connected- who can raise a stink in public, will be annoyed, because they've got a new gen console already, anyways. So I guess we keep shouting 'till someone notices- I'm guessing we have to direct our voices not only at devs but also journalists, etc who aren't trying to bury this. It's worth a shot...

Let's not give up. We've paid the same as the people buying it for PC and second gen consoles and we deserve to get our glitches and bugs fixed too. If the game isn't meant to be played on first gen consoles, then why the hell did they release it to Xbox360 and PS3? And if they released it knowing full well that we would end up with glitchy and in some cases unplayable games, then that is a friggin scam!

I got a post telling me that I was a moron for playing the game on Xbox360 in the first place, and that I should count myself lucky I could get the game to start at all. *sigh*

 

Yeah I got several of those. Own up, it's your choice, research a product before you buy it, it's your fault, you should be grateful/happy/ecstatic that it works on your outdated tub you cheapo go buy a new console and such tosh.

I'm with you, my game works decently after the patch (ps3), but still I'm angry for people who can't play. I'm having some freeze too... so keep the battle alive. Sorry for my english but I'm from Italy.

I tried angry Joe before but the guy doesn't care on old gen , he gave a pretty much perfect score to the game, but I guess you can try? I had no luck with him and I left a message on his YouTube review video.

Ditto and that was I think a month ago, he really sold out, I mean a video of his from I think a year ago he says "we shouldnt put up with games that are broken like this!" now he doesnt care.

Also (sorry for double post) I here "shadow of mordor" (another EA game) was recently patched and it was in as much of a mess as DA: I so there is NO EXUSE BIOWARE.

Try maybe Jim Sterling or the Escapist.

They usually take customers side if the game is really broken which is the case for you guys.

But that's jut an idea because they don't usually play on console...

My game froze so much that it scratched the disc. Being a new game, I didn't buy the one-year warranty ((thinking "there's no way this game would go bad. I trust the company for product quality")). Now I'm screwed cause to go to the Western Approach I have to buy the game again for the low low price of $60 (this was after I also got the $80 special edition for PC, which couldn't run it properly but I hope to be able to in the future).

 

I know its no problem to the company if I just keep showering them with money for a glitchy game, but I don't have endless cash just laying around!

I posted here that my game and was running smoothly fine after patch, but I don't know... Started playing Blacklist and I felt so good to be playing a game with nice graphics, nice controls and no freezes that I asked myself whoa why was I playing Inquisition again? Like when you recover from bad illness, you wake up on the other day feeling much better and then you realise you're the happiest person in the world just because you're not sick anymore

To be honest even if I upgraded to a next-gen system I would upgrade my copy.  No matter how much noise we make, bioware is not going to address us without heavy legal action.  They know enough people will still buy and upgrade their stuff to make them money.

 

Perhaps letting us get irritated to shell out another $10 to upgrade to a working copy is part of their strategy.  This has gone far beyond negligence to outright fraud and theft in my opinion.

I pre-ordered this, and I preordered ME3... Fool me once... Well, you know the rest, and that's it,that's me out - I'm never buying first hand from Bioware again, wanted to support them as they do make unique games, loved them since Jade Empire, but this is atrocious customer service. I'll keep on with complaining about this, but god knows what it would take now to change my opinion about what they have become as a company... sorry, division of EA.
