Everytime I think about just waiting until I buy a new console and not bothering to still keep on complaining, I'm going to remember this post.

Not sure if it'll help, but I've been mass complaining on my blog to 2363 subscribers. A few them have actually reached out to the Bioware team, but whether Bioware are actually going to do anything about them ****** over disabled people is beyond me.

 

Seriously though, bless you all for the amount of effort you guys are putting in to make sure that this game is playable for everyone. We're going to get somewhere, at some point, and it's gonna feel great.

If there are new people around who has been trying to play Dragon Age Inquisition on Xbox360 or PS3 and found the experience lacking, or have been unable to play it at all due to problems like frequent crashes, freezings, loading screens that never ends and so on, please make sure to write a post describing your problems and post it here. You should also make use of your Twitter and Facebook account if you have any. You'll find the right persons to tweet and other information in the very first post written by Panda. And please take the time to sign the petition and put it in your signature so we can spread this information and maybe get BioWare to acknowledge our problems with the game and fix them.

 

And I'm sorry for any typos. English isn't my first language and I'm still a bit out of it due to the stomach flu.

I froze for the 1st time last night, at an unfortunate time no less. I have to say after 45+ hours on the 360 the thing that bothers me the most is that you can't install the play disc. It drives me crazy anymore. So used to not hearing it blaring away makes it ever more apparent and there is no doubt it puts a larger strain on the system.

Well I've been playing on the PS3 and since the last patch the crashes have been less for me. They still happen and I've been trying to deal with the other issues that abound. But today I finally got to Oasis and OMG I'm shocked once again about how this crap made it though QC. I like many others am getting maybe at most 2 frames/second in Oasis. Guess I'm going to shelve this again and wait for a new patch.

That happened to me.  Try going to a different map, like skyhold/haven and then travel back to Oasis.  That "fixed" the frame rate for me.  Still that's not very fun getting hit with a 2 frame per second attack from the game.

Wow, I never had that happen in Oasis, the only two things that bothered me about Oasis from a technical standpoint was the popin was pretty bad and the ground texture for the desert was poor. It really makes me wonder if the one month delay was for the last gen consoles and I can just imagine how bad this port would've been if it released on Oct 7th instead of Nov 18th.

Tried to download the free DLC for the multiplayer, to see if it improve the stability of it.

 

No changes at all. To put in blantly, in 5 attemps, a mortal bug happends 3 times. No key drop, no-end download and stuck on the ground. So it's a purely cosmetical one...

I'm so sorry to hear that. I haven't even tried multiplayer yet. And reading your post and other posts reporting all kinds of problems with it, doesn't really make me all that eager to give it a go.

Δεν γουστάρω να παίζω σε PC περισσότερο απο όσο χρειάζεται. Και τα Diablo, Starcraft κλπ αν τα είχαν βγάλει σωστά και εξαρχής για κονσόλα, για κονσόλα θα τα'παιρνα. Δουλεύω σε μια γαμημένη καρέκλα όλη μέρα, το τελευταίο που χρειάζεται η μεσούλα μου και η πλατούλα μου είναι να παίζω και σε μια καρέκλα λολ. Εξάλλου... τεράστια τηλεόραση, subwoofer και 5,1 αχτύπητη φάση να ακούς το Normandy leaving dock in surround. But within reason, that DA:I shite just doesn't play at all. Ντάξει είπαμε βάζεις νερό στο κρασί σου ξερωγω, αλλά όχι κι έτσι πια.

If it will help bring focus to the problems we're having with DA I on Xbox360/PS3 then I am more than happy to deal with the trolls. I have a lot of cough suryp and flu medicin left so I am staying as mellow as... something very mellow. And I agree with you, the best way to approach trolls is to be almost overly cheery and friendly. We don't want this to turn into a screaming match, so to speak. Let's focus on getting our message through.

I have posted in other threads here about the issue and also about the issues just after release and the response has been pretty much like that. It's old gen console players fault, I don't have any problems so the game is awesome and you are lying, you are stupid for reserving the game (I don't have the game since I cancelled my reservation of it when I heard how bad it was on PS3, lost 10 euros on that though), 10 years old hardware can't do better, why did you except PS4 quality etc. All of those I have heard many times. Sigh, people are so frustrating sometimes ^^;

 

On other note, I got Atelier: Meruru for Xmas present and I'm happy playing it. It's not graphically or performance-wise anywhere close as demanding and great as DAI but nothing is broken. It looks great, not because it has great graphics but cause it everything works propery and works in the way it's designed to look. The problem with DAI is that it's practically broken, things don't work nor look like they are supposed to and only BW can fix it.
