I have posted in other threads here about the issue and also about the issues just after release and the response has been pretty much like that. It's old gen console players fault, I don't have any problems so the game is awesome and you are lying, you are stupid for reserving the game (I don't have the game since I cancelled my reservation of it when I heard how bad it was on PS3, lost 10 euros on that though), 10 years old hardware can't do better, why did you except PS4 quality etc. All of those I have heard many times. Sigh, people are so frustrating sometimes ^^;

On other note, I got Atelier: Meruru for Xmas present and I'm happy playing it. It's not graphically or performance-wise anywhere close as demanding and great as DAI but nothing is broken. It looks great, not because it has great graphics but cause it everything works propery and works in the way it's designed to look. The problem with DAI is that it's practically broken, things don't work nor look like they are supposed to and only BW can fix it.

Like you, I've posted in a couple of other threads and on other forums, and like you I've gotten the same sad repons. They don't seem to get that we don't expect PS4 and XboxOne preformance on our consoles, but what we do expect is PS3 and Xbox360 preformance. And there are a huge number of games for our consoles that looks great and works great, like Mass Effect 2. It has stunning graphics and I've never had any issues with it. That is what I thought I was paying for when I spent 699 Swedish kroners on Dragon Age Inquisition. Silly me.

If BioWare/EA never intended the game to be playable on first gen consoles, then why the hell was it released for first gen consoles?? They should either fix the game or admit that they were just scaming us out of our money. That I can deal with.

And that was my vent for the day.

Today I went through every one and two star review on Amazon and posted this in their individual comments:

A lot of older old gen consoles won't play the game for more than five minutes without crashing: http://forum.bioware...3#entry18211722

Hence this petition- please sign: http://www.thepetiti...onsoles-fix-it/

I think we need to work out where best to find those who, like us, are dissatisfied and post there directly to people who are annoyed and don't know where to turn. Also did the same on the EA Help page with everyone I could find in the same boat. We've now got 56 signatures which is just over a fifth of the way to the target, we've just got to keep pushing...

Original Post- And so the crap door has been opened... which is good, because when trolls start to notice then that is one of the first signs that you are marching in the right direction. Oh, and just remember people if you play video games don't be another race, don't be poor and, please, god forbid, don't ever be a woman. Sod people who think like this, priviledged little gimps. This just reminds me why I'm glad I never bought a headset for when I'm playing dumb-a$$ multiplayer games. We're probably going to get a whole boatload of idiots telling us that we don't know what we're talking about, or that we should all buy a proper console or pc, etc... What we mustn't do is get drawn into a war of words, it just wastes time and energy we could be using to keep on telling other people about this.

Meh, I'm not the polite sort. But I also have horribly limited time, so I won't waste a second thought. Like Panda said, I've heard the tune before. It's all well and good till it happens to THEM, upon which point the world's at an end and Bioware is the Devul!

Did you try Game? I know most of the UK buys from Game. Could be worth a try.

It's just a goal you set when you create a petition, according to how large an audience you believe you can acchieve. Other petitions, animals, human rights, child abuse etc have alot larger initial ceiling, like 10,000 or 20,000 signatures. It all depends. If and when we hit 250, it gives us a milestone achievement and then we aim for double that, for more exposure.

Pig Bodine, you are truly our knight in shining armour. :) I've posted on Facebook and tweeted, and posted the url to this thread and the link on a couple of Swedish gaming sites. Hopefully people will take the time to sign the petition.

Well, I do the opposite ;) Although some warranted foul language will find its way in my scripts, I still prefer to avoid it if not absolutely necessary. But I'm gonna swear at any old troll and unempathic ****** like a drunken sailor! :P

Can't say much for cross platform games, but as a PS3 player I know games that are richer in detail, narrative, graphics, and gameplay on the system.  Anyone play Uncharted 3 or last of us?  Two examples.  For us it is like AC unity for the PS4 and Xbox one gamebreaking issues, with ours DA inquisition issues for the last gen consoles.

I'm hearing complaints from other quarters as well. Somebody suggested we should pursuit legal action. I think a lawsuit would be the best thing we could do, but half of us are in the EU and half in the US and elsewhere, so I can't even begin to suppose how this could be achieved. If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears.

We might want to wait a bit before we look into taking legal action. BioWare have announced that they are working on patches. I don't know if these new patches will address any of our issues but I really, really hope so.

In the EU you may have various trade commissions that could force EA to refund your money even if they claim they are not required to do so. If you pursue legal action it's about money; I don't believe any judicial body can require them to fix the game.

Yes I think the situation for us is as horrible as for new console players with AC Unity. Ubisoft just acknowledges the problems and promises to fix them unlike BW who keeps blaming hardware and ignoring us : / This whole thing really has made me lot respect of BW which is supposed to be my fav game company : /

Yep, I think legal action can be only done if the game isn't refunded to those who want to return it and I think that's more on EA's than BW's side.

A lawsuit? I don't really think that's the wisest idea yet...after all, they are trying to fix things...or so I've heard.

The point is that they chopped down the game to fit the old consoles, graphical and presentational problems aren't a bug, there's nothing there to fix, the game looks shite and misses components, see scars in CC, on purpose. In that case there's nothing to fix and they've just deceived us, fullstop. True, they MIGHT be fixing the playability for all those people who can't even get the thing to run, but even if they do, you'll still be left with horribly subpar performance. From that perspective, we could easily initiate lawsuit for wrongful and deceitful claims. However, we need international lawyers who know such laws, and that doesn't and won't come cheap. And given the fact that most of us have old gen consoles cause we can't afford the new ones... well, it's a two pus two situation on why we probably can't...

Well the many problems are still bugs and clitches since not everyone has so messed up game on old gen consoles. Like the pictures on the OP about textures not loading properly, that's a bug. Also to issues that aren't bugs I think BW should still look into and make work-arounds since I don't seriously understand how they stand selling game at the situation it is, that should be embrassing to them. And even having it as game of the year...

It's almost kind of funny that DAIMP is a complete and utter mess and this time they had some experience, meanwhile ME3MP was accidentally fantastic considering Bioware has had no experience with multiplayers previously before it. I love ME3MP with all my goddamn heart, I played it so much I managed to clock nearing 550 hours and managed to get Best of the Best. (For those who are thinking "no way", yes way, have my N7 HQ.)

Like, ME3MP was a simple concept: 10 wave system plus extraction wave, and a challenge every 3 waves ish (wave 3, wave 6, wave 10), and each wave becoming gradually harder. To complete a wave, you had to kill all the enemies, or complete the challenge within the time limit, and when the challenge was done and time limit gone, you killed all the enemies. Easy. It was hard to break the wave, it was only stuff like enemies falling through the map, or the challenge itself (usually the escorts) falling through the map. Firebase London was the glitchiest, but that map could easily be avoided. It was only 1 of 10+ maps.

With DAIMP, they tried to build on that, but added in too many variables. If you have to wait to a key to drop, that's bound to glitch out. If you simply had to kill all the enemies that spawned, easy, it worked last time so it's going to work again. One of my friends have been playing DAIMP for the 360, and out of like, 10 times she played? The key only dropped a couple of times and that's just. Rubbish. Complete and utter garbage. The classes aren't as well built or as balanced as the classes in ME3MP. Some of the classes were garbage, but at least they were somewhat salvageable like the Krogan Warlord. Rubbish on anything higher than silver because of garbage mobility and he was pretty much Banshee bait, but absolutely fun to play on the lower difficulties. (I took him through a gold once with a few friends, and it was with Collectors and it was the most horrifying experience ever. We did extract though.)

People have also reported worse lag issues on DAIMP compared to ME3MP, more falling through maps, glitching into buildings, etc.

How they managed to botch up DAIMP worse than ME3MP now that they have experience is beyond me, seriously.

TL;DR: ME3MP accidentally fantastic, DAIMP accidentally rubbish. Let's hope they fix it and DAIMP can start to live up to ME3MP's name.

Doesn't a lot of DA I's problems stem from the Frostbite engine? I know my friends are having some of the same issues with Battlefield that some of us are having with DA I. Like the glitchy sound for example.

Haven't the faintest to be honest, because I've never played any of the Battlefield multiplayers. (I've only played Battlefield Bad Company 2's single player.)

Wouldn't surprise me either.

So it's probably a case of "too much ****, badly optimized, we released it anyway."

I blame EA. They seem to have a nack for releasing games before they're finished.

EA: "Playable games? In my house? **** off, I'd rather have the money."

EA is basically the Michael Bay of video games.

Before I go off topic or potentially get this thread banned, I re-posted this thread onto my blog so that may make it's rounds on tumblr so we may get some new faces around here.

Also before I came here I went to Answers EA first and went for live help and after waiting an hour, it was basically "you're asking the wrong place and person." Thanks, Answers EA live help.
