Greetings to all.

One thing I wanted to share with you is: do you feel outraged with the game's graphics in old gen? Has more beautiful game that is old and a proof is the Hawkes, who when he appeared, I felt disgusted look at him.
And the delay in rendering? This is ridiculous, every damn scene happens it.
I do not know if it's just me, but this bid to reflect the lights in the armor are too ugly in olg gen're not neat. Would you like it to be removed?

What about bugs? Have you experienced many?

I have no words to describe how much I was disappointed with these game bugs. There was a time I was talking to Josephine and my inquisitor began to enter the ground. Literally.

I know that the issue of graphics can even be my freshness, but please EA / BIOWARE arranges these problems, the delay in rendering're too ugly to behold.

A hug from his friend Maracalas  :D

(Do not mind the spelling error, I do not speak English, and as no one would care if I wrote that my tongue, had to appeal pro translator.)

You are not the only one. Lots of people have been having these problems ever since the game was released in November. A shame really.

I have a HDMi cable and a high resolution. But the text you are showing for exemple of fine fonts are NOT the smallest of the game. You forget the "todo" list of the quest on the upper right corner or the list of abnormal status of the character in tactical cam.
And even so, if you are fine with this font size, your own photos shows really little text and even a zoom of the screen. Just compare with the other RPGs and you will see that all the other games uses more big font. And they don't use the CAPSLOCK to make all the text in small capital, making them harder to translate for our own brain...

Err sorry but I didn't do anything to the text at all, that's the base size of the text and not capslocked by me or anything like that. As soon as I got my tv I put in DAI and couldn't make anything out at all, so I hooked up an hdmi to my 1080p 24 inch insignia and was able to see everything from across the room and btw that is not a screenshot that's just a picture taken by my camera phone.

Picture of tac cam taken a couple of minutes ago.

So I don't get what you're talking about and I think you're misunderstanding something, I never said it was a fix nor did I say it wasn't bioware's fault. They are at fault and they seemed to have assumed everyone has the highest resolution on their tv's + an hdmi cord and likely didn't test how the text size would look on the lower resolution ( below 1080p and standard) tv's even with an hdmi cord.

Also I agree with you that i've never seen it before either, and definitely not in any rpg's but don't assume that someone did anything to the text, like I said before without an hdmi cord at 720 I couldn't see anything at and even showed my friends it who then gave me a spare cord.

Not biowares fault some need glasses, mine is like Spectres and i can read it fine from 6 feet away.I do like how when we say we can read it you basically call us liars.Off to enjoy DA:I ...Merry Xmas(wonders how many open the wrong presents because the writing is to small)

Uh are you serious, it's definitely their fault, there's a lot of issues on the 360 version granted I haven't experienced the worst of them but I have experienced some of them which are a lot more noticeable now.

Clipping, textures not loading right away, iron bull's arm went inside of his body and fought one handed with his sword, jumping when entering a conversation makes your character have a seizure in mid air, crafting armors take awhile to load up how they look, crafted armor textures don't pop up right away, hornless qunari face changes and grows small buds on the top of their head, occasionally the tac cam lags, cut scenes and conversations stop and you miss them or it freeze, eenemies and objects disappear, and the biggest one the text size. Which is solved for me for the moment as long as i'm playing on my tv and not another one.

I've played DAI on 3 different tv's now, and will try a fourth one tonight so it's still an issue thst they need to address. Also it seems a lot of people on both sides are calling each other liars which is really ridiculous, instead of all this crap why don't people take everything into account instead of goingy ou're lying and that's not the case or other things along those lines.

I had that seizure happen once, looked like my character was floating with magic :wizard:

Another thing I forgot to add, Beards are awful on last gen. Stroud's is super bad, Blackwall's is ok but not great. Stroud is just

Honestly you guys, and I am sorry to say this, really I am, but I don't think Bioware cares much, if at all, about all of your folks' problems.

I get a very strong feeling that they merely let this thread open just because they need a place for people to vent, and that's it. I don't think anyone in Bioware is reading this thread, or if they do read it, it is certainly not with the intention of collecting bugs or "fixing" stuff like textures not loading and all that for the last gen machines or stuff like that.

Bioware merely allows this thread to exist as a depository for people complaining about last gen problems, nothing more.

What kind of TV are you using? I'm using an LG and even with the HDMI cable the text and subtitling still looks like garbage to me and everything is far too small. I'm using a kind of new kind of old 30" 720p widescreen. (The subtitles are in caps for some odd reason, which is silly because it decreases legibility. Most other text that I've seen seems to be in the standard grammatically correct case. Still too small for me though.)

What I'd give for a patch that just fixes the text overall though. I'm not even sure that Bioware has acknowledged that there is a huge text size and legibility issue on a large scale.

For BW's sake I hope that's not true. I'm already so disappointed with them, with their customer service.. or lack of it and with their poor execuse of PS3 and XBOX360 game which they sell regular versions at 90 dollars in my country. Also  the false marketing before release, claiming that DAI reaches full potential of old gen consoles and that there is only less NPC's but nothing else is missing..

At least we have petition going on. Hopefully they wake up with that. Right now I think they should be shamed to call their game the game of the year. Although Ubisoft can't animate women they at least have some decency to apologise when things aren't working and promising to fix them. BW just keeps ignoring us.

EDIT: Also, Ubisoft is giving free DLC as apology for problems with problems of the game. I doubt Bioware.. or should I say EAware with this, does anything like that. They just keep pretending all players have hardware problems and their game is perfect.

Ubisoft case is a bit special because the bugs were not the only problems that the game had.

Here a good resume of the case : http://www.neogaf.co...8&postcount=914

Because of all these, the customers exploded and it reached a lot of social medias.

Something similar happened to Sims 4 backlash.

I still doubt AC Unity has more severe problems than DAI. I mean some players here on this thread can't get pass loading screen..

If Bioware continues to make their game inaccessible to the deaf console gamers, I'm taking the fuckers down with me. This **** should not happen at all, ever.

You just remembered me of a game, Final Fantasy 7 on PSX. Some friends of mine with lot of vision issues really loved this game, because they were given lot of options to change the color of the background, change the contrast of the text and use a flashing guide to find all the doors and the exits of the map.

The possibility to change the HUD to make it more usable for half-blind exist. Even the Windows OS has it. But it still stay rare in video game world.

Oh, and Spectre Slayer, I never said YOU were the guy that create the font. Bioware is at fault here, they used a small capslock font that make the reading of vital information painful for our own brain. But it is not the same thing everywhere. For example, the gamers of Poland get a fine font really easier to read.

Being a cynic myself, I'm guessing that you're probably right. Which is why I set up the petition. I presume what we do is gather signatures, hoping, as we do that, that we won't have to use the petition, and that Bioware will fix these problems before we need take the next step.

Next step, I think, would be that when we reach a reasonable level of signatures we send the petition off to every games magazine- media outlet that discusses games we can think of. Tailoring the approach to the given outlet. For example 'The Mary Sue' tends to concern itself with actual gaming ethics- rather than the definition supplied by a gamergate neanderthal- so, for them, we emphasise the issue of text size and how it excludes certain gamers- it may also be an idea to contact disability rights campaigners etc about this too at that point, but as I'm not au fait with the minutae of these issues I'd probably leave that to those who are directly involved with them/are currently being excluded from playing the game because of them- as I don't want to get the facts wrong, (whilst, of course, supporting them in their endeavours whole-heartedly).

After we've approached several media outlets we then inform everybody we can at Bioware/EA that we have done so and send them screen prints of any articles that may have been written, and hope that pushes them into action.

After that?

I guess those of you who feel they have a legal challenge that they may win can pursue that, although I hope Bioware sees sense and it doesn't come to that.

So, in the meantime- I suggest that everybody who can be bothered puts a version of the following at the bottom of their posts and keeps spreading the word, we're almost up to 70 signatures now...

BioWare are working on patches. I don't know if they once again will focus only on the PC-version of the game when it comes to major fixes, but I'm trying to stay optimistic so I hope that Patch 3, when it comes, will sort out the worst of the glitches. In my case its the audio, or lack there of, and the dialouge wheel during quest related banter never highlighting that makes it very hard for me to enjoy the game. The sometimes awful graphic is a problem too but I am prepared to live with that if it means I'll get banter and background music and enviromental sounds when there should be.

But yeah... the horribly glossy hair and facial hair is very annoying. It would be nice if they could fix that on consoles too. And I wouldn't mind some prettier hairstyles, and maybe better looking casual clothes. Oh, and a gown for a female Inquisitor to wear during the Winter Palace quest. That would be dreamy. :)

Pretty much all of us who's posted here has experienced glitches and bugs, like the game crashing, freezing, saves never loading or being corrupted. Black screens, textures never loading, very low res graphic, several audio glitches, and so on... So if nothing else, you're in good company. :) We are trying to get BioWare to acknowledge and fix these problems. You can help out by signing the petition if you haven't done so already, and by telling your friends about it and asking them to sign too: http://www.thepetiti...onsoles-fix-it/

I don't know if this one has been mentioned, but Ihave noticed a bug, where the characters are running/walking on the spot, and the only way to keep moving ahead is to keep jumping. This occurred on 'the trouble with darkspawn quest' on the floor in the building you enter. The 'Servis disappears' glitch is also still present.

Here in Sweden there are associations dedicated to the deaf community. They're very outspoken when it comes to things like subtitles and other ways that includes those who can't hear in cinemas and things like that. They recently managed to get a law passed that says that all movies that are shown on cinemas here in Sweden has to have subtitles. If there is such an association in the country where you live, maybe you could get in touch with them and tell them about the problem with Dragon Age Inquistion's small font size? They might be willing to help out and put some pressure on BioWare.

Oh man that is SO cool!

Games have proven time and time again that they're just not for the sensory abled with subtitles and what FF7 did and it's so incredible what technology can achieve if they actually bother to try.

And the we get the wet fart that's DAI's accessibility. Typical.

i hope Bioware ignore the old gen now. Just make games for ps4 xbox1 and pc.

People are not that stupid to playi a 2014 game on a old gen console.

....BUT people are so stupid to suddenly buy any new console as soon as it' sold. So thank you for testing for us Ps4 and its games. So, as I always did, I can buy it next year in a new and more powerful version, at a cheaper price, and also I'll buy second hand games full patched and full working. Thank God silly people like you exists!

That's so amazing that the deaf are making waves over in Sweden.

Here, in the UK, not so much. If we want subtitles in the cinemas, we either have to go to special viewings that are rarely broadcasted or advertised or wait for the DVD/Blu-Ray release. BSL was only legally/officially recognised 11 years ago and I don't think that's done much in the way of deaf rights since.

I'm not sure if there's any deaf activism groups in the UK, to be honest. I'm not as connected to the deaf community as I'd like to be (disability support is **** here). There's charities and projects for deaf kids, definitely, but not any focused activism groups as far as my memory goes. (There's only one local deaf group, and it's literal description is "get together and have a cuppa".)

However, there is the British Deaf AssociationRoyal Association for Deaf people and Signature but whether they'll want to do anything about a singular video game is beyond me. Maybe we could talk about making a baseline for subtitles mandatory in every video game published?

For Americans, there's the National Association of the Deaf and Deafhood Foundation (which seems to be more activism inclined.)

But other than that, I'm not sure who and where to crack down and talk to in the UK.
