Thanks hun, it's a couple of things today, a little kid today begged me for something to eat while I was returning from the tax office, and it was like... I know you don't have them in Sweden, I lived 3 years in Denmark, but... when you just look into those little 6-7 year old eyes, and all the world's disappointment stares back at you, you kinda tend to have a bad day. Spent the entire day wondering if I could have done more... went back to where I found him later, but he was gone. Anyway, yeah, irrelevant, sorry. Also the money's not coming in, and I'm starting to get depressed from that too, definitely not a good day. Anyway. Sorry again. Ranted. 

 

God, that is just awful. Poor child... We don't have children begging here, yet. But we have adults and young people coming from Romania and other countries. Europe is in a sad state.

You're lucky you're not a southern border country. There's nothing we can do about them. They have to be accepted into Europe but they are forbidden to move to the inner countries, they can only stay in the country of entry till they are either deported or given proper papers. Both options take years. And we're full of unhappy illegal immigrants who can't reach their destination. It's a mess... there was a ship with 600 illegal immigrants from Moldavia that issued an alert last night, which had been turned around by the Italian authorities. So they came here, sunk the ship and issued an alert :/ Slavers know we can't turn their cargo away, and this way they unload without much hassle... kids and the weak get killed, we get a serious emergency of people in critical condition in our hands, but hey, since the slavers concluded their business it's all dandy...   I just wish the EU actually paid some attention to human rights and proper border control. Anyway, yeah, totally offtopic, I'm sorry.

I second almost everything noted in this thread. Is there any way to fix the popping textures? Also the character creation has way too shiny hair and not enough long hair options!

There is no workaround that I know of. We are doing our best to get BioWare to address those and other issues. If you haven't done so already, you can sign the petition. You'll find the url in my signature. You can also use Facebook and Twitter to contact BioWare and the developers and tell them about your problems. You will find all information and names and such in the very first post in this thread.

 

All we can do right now is to try and get BioWare to realise that they need to come up with fixes for Dragon Age Inquisition so that we all can enjoy the game.

Wow. You are exactly the person whose opinion I want! I've been toying with the idea of buying a flat in London for a few years but I keep reading about how foreign investors keep buying properties in London and contributing to a housing market that is hostile to actual British people trying to live and work in the capital. Do you think this is an accurate representation of the situation? Obviously, the recent land deals and housing developments are fact not opinion but am I part of a greater problem if I want a little place in a 150-year-old building? NYC has a lot of flats that are second homes but they don't make the news in the same way in the US press.

Also I'm not on tumblr and tried to search for the person who put up this petition on it as they didn't seem to have a twitter or facebook presence I could find. If someone here is aufait with tumblr could you possibly reach out to the creator of the above petition- (Scottie G/femboss @ tumblr) and tell them we're directing people over to their one, so that they can direct any old-gen gamers, that come to them, over to ours.

Patch 2 was focused on stability on all platforms (full patch notes), and are also looking at a number of fixes and improvements for future patches.

Unlike the BSN, these channels are geared towards providing troubleshooting and cataloguing issues from users. If you feel there might be an issue with the disc or product itself, you can also file a report here and our customer support personnel will do their best to help you.

 

If you notice that another user has already filed a similar complaint, don’t be discouraged from adding to their thread. This helps us keep better track of how many players are experiencing an issue and can better help our support staff troubleshoot the root cause.

 

Please note that the BSN does not offer troubleshooting services (apart from the help other people here kindly offer). Our devs come here on a volunteer basis to interact with fans and share stories with them, rather than to provide official support.

Popin could be fixed but that's also a limitation on last gen power. I don't think you can fully patch that out. Hair options is an engine limitation from what I've heard, maybe they add more hair options as DLC which I would dip if it's more then just that. Shiny Hair could be fixed but that would require adding another texture, I doubt that'll get fixed and I think there are more pressing issues at the moment.

 

Me personally I think getting install to HD for 360 is the number 1 thing that needs to be done, then making the game more stable so it doesn't freeze would be next and probably a couple more stuff before shiny hair. Hopefully we'll get an update when Bioware gets off it's winter vacation although I wouldn't expect a patch next week, maybe in 3 weeks if we are lucky.

I'm excepting patch 3 end of January. Hopefully it will finally fix old gen problems, I think they didn't really focus those in patch 2 but rather fixed PC problems. Since the were fixing shiny hair for low to medium graphics on PC I think they might do that in old gen as well if they just want (though I don't know if it was succesful fix at all). I also hope they will take look at text size issue, it'd be nice if they could provide slider or maybe couple different sizes for texts. Also I'd love if the texture pop-in's and clippings were fixed, but maybe that's too much to hope for ^^;
