Just thrown another bottle into the sea... messaged the Mary Sue, Den Of Geek and Metro's gaming pages, with what I hope is a reasonably well written missive. If you can think of other magazines let me know so i can email them, and also email the ones i did yourselves at geekcontent@gmail.com for den of geek, info@themarysue.com, gamecentral@ukmetro.co.uk the more people write to them the more chance they will put up an article, etc... and generate more signatures.

I was soooo on the fence about this after Eurogamer tore the last gen version apart, they are so anti-last gen now its not even funny. They might as well just put "BUY A PS4 OR XBONE NOW YOU SCUM"

I think I`ll purchase it on 360 though always better to hear from acutal people whove played it

Far Cry 4 for last gen works just fine.I think if I were to read reviews of all newer games that went cross gen ,this one would probably win the place of the best performance.

Shadow of Mordor? Crap.

Alien Isolation?Heard it was very buggy. etc etc.

Far Cry 4? I only saw positive reviews from people and I had second thoughts at first but I went on and bought it. 44.99 euros well spent.

 

Oh and to be completely and utterly honest , I DID encounter....1 bug.Just 1.

I killed a bengal tiger and even though it glowed ,there was no option to skin it.I tried everything.My lootbag was half full ,had plenty of space.So yeah, that was the only bug in 20+ hours of Far Cry 4.

So...to the people who bash us and call us dumb for buying new games on last-gen? Am I stupid for buying Far Cry 4?A cross gen plat game that actually works?Or am I clever because it works?

Concur. Far Cry 4 excellent and I think I had only one , maybe 2 non game breaking bugs in the 25 hours I played it, absolute blast except maybe the ending felt a bit rushed, Mordor I tried and couldn't work out if I hated it or not. Load times were sooooo long on a 360 that I couldn't be sure if it was this that made it impossible to have fun or the god awful empty depressingness of the environments- and whether both those issues are resolved on new gen I can only guess. 

 

Also does anyone know if Inquisition works better on a potato? I'm thinking about saving up and buying one just to play the game...

Concur. Well, at least the potato won't crash, or freeze so it might be worth a try.

 

As for the petition, I think it is coming along nicely. We have to remember that with Christmas and New Years people have been busy with family-stuff and things like that. I think we have to settle ourselves to playing the long game here. We've been ignored since the start for some reason, and I think we need to continue to spread the word about this thread and the petition, and post and write on social media and do our best to get BioWare's attention. The alternative is to accept that we've paid good money for a game that is so riddled with problems that it is completely unplayable for some, and for others the many glitches and bugs makes it a hassle to play rather than a joy.

DAI is way better then mordor on last gen. From what I've heard, Mordor is 15FPS, I know for a fact that DAI doesn't have that issue on last gen.

Unfortunately it's only compatible with electric potato peelers and won't actually work with old fashioned knives- however they will still be releasing it in a knife version, just as a practical joke. Also it will come with recipe-tarot cards but these will be printed so small that you won't have a clue what the instructions are for preparation in this or the next world. In other news- 7 signatures over night so we're past the half-way mark on the petition...

No DAI doesn't have that issue - however I'd take even 15fps over not working at all any day... For other people no doubt it was bad but I've played Mordor and for me it ran smoothly in the gaming parts, it was the load times that was the issue- even toggling between map and hud took 30 secs realtime. Is it me or does it seem that inconsistency is the new benchmark for ports to the old gen? They don't test on all the different iterations of motherboards etc and so performance is all over the place.

You take the risk, buy the game and then spin the wheel...The wheel spins, whatya gonna get?All depends on luck.Will you get a barely working game?Will you get a disk error?Will you get frequent crashes?Missing sound and small text? All of the above?Crashing in one area all over areas?

Got the unreadable disc last night on 360 Full panic. Very sorry for those of you i mught have doubted. Somehow fixed itself after 20 minutes of clearing cache. Heard you can possiblely delete gane from hardrive to fix but how do you delete game and keep saves? Made myself a vow not to but dlc until i get next gen.

Goal is one complete playthough!

Fyi went to bethesda boards and we are just a bunch of cry babies

Oh my god I still can't believe they haven't even acknowledged that they fucked up so many basic things in this game. We're nearing 2 months since release and they've done jack about it and it feels like we're dealing with a bunch of children who don't want to eat their damn greens oh my god.

 

It'll be good for you Bioware, if you announced/acknowledged that you were fixing some of the basic stuff that's vital to the game instead of twiddling your thumbs and ignoring us.
