Happy happy joy joy... yeah laughing banana is probably right, but hey, 1, 2, 3, 4 Kumbaya... heck now I've just spilt hot marshmallow down my pyjamas...
In other news!
FUN WITH CONAL PIERSE- it's my new game show where there are only winners...
Do you remember his fun tweet to my last enquiry?
'if you are experiencing issues, please report them on Answers HQ or to @dragonage'
Well, I had to tweet him back being as I'm such a sociable guy.
My reply: ' ur joking? No answers, no responsibility taken. Read the thread http://forum.bioware...hese-issues/ …'and take responsibility.'
I didn't get an answer so I followed it up with this olive branch.
'no reply? no surprise. who is responsible? if this was a call centre I'd be asking to speak to a manager'
His reply to this really helped me put things into perspective.
'again, if you are having issues, you can report them here: http://help.ea.com/e...e-inquisition …
I am unable to provide info or tech support.'
Can't wait to see if he bothers to reply to my answer to this, which was:
'Fair enough, but neither are they on these issues. Someone needs to assure us that patch 3 fixes disc unreadable error, etc.'
Then just to clarify I tweeted this.
'we've all tried EA help and, well, they don't. We need an announcement that assures us patch 3 will sort these issues, please.'
I really want to thank him. I never thought I'd be able to distill my feelings into 127 characters but i feel he's really helping me to get in touch with my inner pithyness. I can be such a chatty cathy sometimes, especially with star developers. To think this man was the lead coder on Jade Empire, a series which preached the virtues of honesty, hard work and justice, and now he is able to truly hold the line for
EA? Well, that is an inspiration to us all. I urge you to message him too- he really likes to chat.
You're simply the best...
I have problems getting my Twitter-account to work, but Facebook works like a charm and I'm doing my best to keep reminding BioWare that this thread exists and that they need to at least acknowledge that there are glitches and bugs making Dragon Age Inquisition more or less unplayable on old gen consoles. And that Patch2 in some ways actually made things worse.
I have no intention of giving up, as some other members on the forum has suggested. Why should I? We have all the right in the world to get our money's worth same as those who bought the game for PC and second gen consoles.
A little update: I got my Twitter-account to work on the laptop and I've tweeted: @Mike_Laidlaw, @Cameron_Lee, @BioMarkDarrah, @dragonage, @bioware and @ConalPierse
I wrote: STOP ignoring your old gen customers!! We paid as much as PC/XboxOne! PLZ ADRESS THESE ISSUES: http://forum.bioware...x-these-issues/
I've also posted the same message a bunch of times on BioWare's different Facebook accounts. Feel free to copy the message and tweet/post it too. The more the merrier. Now bring forth the marshmallows and chocolate! Wee shaaall overcooome... Wee shaaall ooovercoome... Weee shaall overcome sooome daaaay... We shall overcome soome daaay!!
Oh, and if anyone wants to get in touch with me on Twitter I'm on @Faeryia. If you follow me, I promise to follow you back. I'm not very good at tweeting though, but now that I've gotten the account up and running properly, I'll give it a shot.
Update #2: I've PM'd Allan Schumacher, Mark Darrah and Cameron Lee here on the board. Again, feel free to copy the message and PM them too. Posting in this thread and on the EA Help forum clearly isn't enough to make BioWare take notice that they need to fix the major issues with DA I on old gen consoles. Like, Pig Bodine says, we need to keep bugging them. And the more people bugging them the harder it will be for them to ignore us:
Please, stop ignoring your old gen customers! We paid as much as those who bought the game for PC/XboxOne/PS4. We expected to get a game that we could play on our consoles, not this glitchy bug-riddled mess that is Dragon Age Inquisition. A lot of us can't even play the game at all due to disc read errors and sound completely going mute after Patch 2 and other major problems and issues.
We have reported this many, many times on the EA Help forum and gotten no replies at all. You need to step up and acknowledge that there are serious glitches and bugs ruining DA I on Xbox360/PS3. If the problems can't be solved then we should be able to get our money back. Right now a lot of people think you released the game on old gen consoles knowing full well that it wouldn't work and they, including myself, feels cheated and robbed. This is not what I expected from you, BioWare. Please, at least talk to us.
Please address these issues: http://forum.bioware...x-these-issues/
