I pointed out that saying Bioware released the game knowing it wouldn't work for 360 users is a conspiracy theory, and blatantly ignores facts. Octarin found that argument FAR too difficult to argue against, so instead he pushed a different statement onto me ("You think people having real problems are conspiracy theories?") and argued against that instead. That's the very definition of a strawman, and he's been doing it the whole God-damn day.
Well, let's see the thing with a calm mind.
They made beta-test on their own. Only on the PS4 and XboxOne? No. They made it on multiple plateforms with differences in hardware (lot of diff between the PS3 and 360) so they probably do it on all the plateforms.
I put out the way all the grafical problems. The hardware of the older consoles is probably a big part of the problem here.
All the problems meeted by the PC community can come by the immense variety of hardwares.
So, we have 4 Hardwares with little to no differences : Any PS3 has the same hard, with only little changes over the year of production.
Now, we have DAI on Xboxone and PS4 working fine and a lot of bugs on PS360.
Four possibilities :
1 : Bioware understimates the % of issues on the older gen, finding the amount of mortal bugs tolerable.
2 : Bioware put more fund and people on the new-gen who is the hardware with the bigger progression rate in the years to come and was too lazy to follow the testing on the old-gen.
3 : Some totally unexpected and completely uncontrollable bug creator happened between the beta-testing and the final release.
4 : Bioware launched an old-gen version just for the show "look, we are good to the old-gen fans!"
It's sad, but they don't give us a lot of reason to belive in them anymore. The fact that they talk immediatly about the key drop bug that is only related to the cash-grabing MP is not a good signal too...
