I'm running the digital download version on a PS3 and I have quite a few of the problems listed in the original post. I've been a big fan of the past Dragon Age games but this one bug wise just sucks! The sound issues are a nuisance but the crashes are just intolerable. I can get around most of the visual differences between the PS3 and PS4, but I expected a whole lot better than what we have now. I've seen better visuals on my old PS2. I mean come on, metallic shiny hair?!?! Really?
Old gen (PS3 and XBOX360) master thread, Bioware please fix these issues!

Did a re-install and it gave me the red rings of death...........
Ffs, I'm picking up a PS4 version tomorrow (provided there is one). Managed to fix my poor 360 and I'm not putting that game back in it until BIOWARE pull out an update or some such.
So disppointed.. Oh well, hopefully the PS4 version will do better!

I'm in Haven, after the prologue. Talking a bit to the characters in the area. Didn't encounter much problems. One audio issue in one line in the prologue, and the textures load normally, or when they don't (it happened a few times), they load in 1-2 seconds.im still hoping for some word on bioware about us "the old" generation of consoles -3- and for this thread to become official as well, hows everyone doing lately with their games?
Haven isn't that empty of NPC by the way. While I'm sure next gen is better, I expected worse by people's comment.

This is..probably the most bipolar game I've seen in a while. It either looks very good or very bad, and there's no in-between. There are points it looks pretty damned good (like the waterfalls and river in the Hinterlands) and there are times it looks like an N64 game.
The intro is hilariously off-model in a lot of parts. When it zooms to the various people talking about "they've already judged you" half of them are blobs, and the one it centers in on..the textures have never loaded, and I've been through that part about five times.
I never thought Bioware would have a game with worse texture pop-in than ME, and the Unreal engine's kind of known for that. How the blazes is Frostbite 3 worse?
Between the textures, the audio glitch, the cutscene stutter, and the outright cutscene hangs (freezes, have to press X to advance, miss entire chunks of it) I'm wondering if anyone actually playtested the 360/PS3 versions.

Ok a quick update on my game exp: almost fifteen hours now
1 Two crashes
first one in world travel
second one while jumping in a hut (yeah I still get confused with that X button)
a few hours past between those crushes
2 As someone told in a post, yes, this game suffers from bipolar disease. Sometimes it looks fair enough for PS3. For instance I talked Conner in Redcliff and he looked way much better than DAO though the extreme contrast in general is still a major issue and most of the time off putting
3 So far almost no pop ins
4 Combat is smooth and no lagging in general.
4 Overall I started to warm in the story and I guess that will keep me going.
5 And come on Bioware don't give us the silent treatment (apart from that one and only tweet) It's your turn in the dialog wheel.

I wish I could do that but I've never tried to record my games before (no clue how to do it:) and I don't even have a youtube channel to upload. But if it helps it is very close to this video:

Another Glitch - Xbox360:
Keep crafting new armor. New armor shows up on PC in the inventory screen, but she's still wearing the same old catsuit out in the world. Can't tell if she's getting the armor benefit or not because it doesn't look like she's wearing any.
Not a glitch, but a gripe: I miss the twinkling loot indicators. Hate the push button thingy.
" I wish the music when you return to skyhold was something other than drums - god that
gets old in a hurry.
Character looks like she has a neural motor issue - wish the "A" button was still the attack.

I played the game for a total of 5 minutes after character creation. My husband had told me how terrible the game looked and how glitchy it was after he played a few hours. I didn't make it that long. The game looks atrocious. Have already set up for it to be returned. I'll get the PS4 version once all of the other problems, mainly Dragonkeep, have been sorted... So in about 3 or 4 months then. What a mess they made of the last gen versions.

I too have an xbox360 and I am wondering if the game is worth the purchase as it currently stands. I would hope that Bioware does not throw its last-gen fanbase under the bus just because the new consoles came out. People said the same 60+ dollars as those with current generation consoles. It is unfair to keep them in such uncertainty. I hope Bioware takes a more dynamic approach in addressing the concerns of these gamers.

It could help if people revealed their console versions and then said if the game works properly or not. The differences between performance of game might be related to console versions since both disk and digital version of the game seem to have equal problems.

On the minor graphical infedelities... I wish the game was designed fof the 360/PS3 and the upgrade to the newer stronger consoles, but considering, the game runs decent.... enough. Its not perfect, but feels like it can be fixed.

Do we have any word on when the next patch is coming?
None. We've had one tweet in the earlier days of this thread that said "We'll be patching". Didn't say what or when.

Just got my copy today for the Xbox 360 (Non-Slim). I'm now in Haven area and got my first 'Disc is unreadable, please clean' message - even though the game is brand new out of box. Yes, there also severe pop in problems, garbled dialogue and some graphic textures failing to load.
Hope the patch (if any) will resolve some of the problems that myself and others are experiencing. At least being able to install the game disc will reduce drive load.

Does someone have DAI on PS3 Slim 320GB from 2010 (or other GB size but otherwise same)? I'm wondering how it works on that platform.
