I have the text issue with my game (xbox 360) and it has been tested on both my old arcade 360 and my sons newer 'touch sensitive' 360, so it has also been tested on two different tvs. The text is unreadable on both. It does not seem to be a size problem so much as a clarity problem, the letters of each word seem to fuzz and bleed into each other making them unreadable.

This is ruining an otherwise fantastic game. Please Bioware, do something this time.

I have the PAL disc version for PAL PS3 and the game looks "good". It looks like the good youtube Let's Play. So far i have only experienced the hair and facial hair bug, the ps3 sometimes freezing during aoutosaves after i have been playing for several hours in a row, the game temporarily freezing for a couple of seconds during aoutosaving when all my 25 save slots where used (it later stopped temporarily freezing when i deleted some saves and kept the amount of used saveslots below 20), the sound somtimes disapearing during the begining of battles and i would like to have the advisors and other importaint npc's textures sharper.

I hope my lack of concentration while writing this doesn't make it to hard to read :P

EDIT: Oh and also, yesterday an enemy fell from the sky on to my inquisitors head. Somehow the enemy spawned in the air when my character was below him. :S

Hey guys, I'm a 360 user. First off, I knew I was going to get a less beautiful experience playing this game, but honestly, sometimes it feels like I'm back playing the PS2. Now don't get me wrong, so far I'm really enjoying the game. I'm 6 hours in and I haven't run into any crazy bugs just yet - so far just one freeze, a few minor graphical problems. The only gleeming problem for me are the horrible textures and generally low quality graphics. However, since people have been reporting so many issues with last-gen, I am now worried I will run into the same problems at some point, and will completely ruin the experience for me.

One thing I don't get though, is why did they reduce the number of NPCs in an area? That part in Haven where you waken and need to go to see Cass. I watched a let's play of that area after and there were so many more NPCs. It kinda took me by surprise and ruined the immersion for me. I mean, Assassin's Creed is years old, so I'm pretty sure a 360/PS3 can handle a few extra NPCs!

Probaply having that many NPC's was too heavy for old gen consoles to handle alongside with other stuff that DAI has and some other games that have lot of NPC's don't have. Idk what that is exactly but it seems like DAI is very heavy game.

Played for an hour more from my last post and within that time 3 disc unreadable errors occurred (Xbox 360, Non-Slim).This shuts the game down completely, rendering it unplayable. Is it possible to install the game disc for next patch? In the meantime, anyone else getting these errors and know how to resolve them?

I'm "playing" (not really cos it crashes all the time) on xbox 360 as well (non slim).

Getting the "disc unreadable" error randomly and it's ****** annoying. Graphics and sound are fine as long as it works but the crashing makes it unplayable right now.

I'm done playing it until there's a patch.

I must say first that this is the epic game I expected ME3 to be. This game is flipping awesome.  That aside my glitches/bugs have been common throughout my 30 hour game play. [on the xbox 360]

Sound cutting out completely for several minutes, weird [and LOUD] noises during loading, loading times are very long getting into the game or trying to connect to DA server before game [I had to disconnect from online because 30 had passed and it was still loading].  Dorian's [fabulous porn] moustache disappear into his nose [along with his lips, lol, very funny, I'll admit]. My character falling from the sky after a mission completes [died once or twice]. Enemies not attacking or freezing mid attack.

Several key missions: the dialogue skips around or blends all at once to create a jumble. Or stalls completely stalling the conversations and skipping ahead won't do anything. The game basically froze [this happened making the key warden mission FUBAR, I had to find any earlier state and avoid it, much to my sadness. I tried reloading it from the start, etc but it still froze]. I had to restart my console each attempt; spent almost 2 hours last night and gave up =(

Ah graphics! UBER shiny moustaches.. Funny at first, now it's weird. 60% of the time the world/people do not render properly. Clothes/limbs/etc jump around or don't render. People appear and slide along the paths when I'm in a conversation with someone else. When jumping lately, my character is frozen mid jump but I can still move around.

It was frustrating to start the game and not understand that mission objectives could be above or underground. I'd spend forever trying to jump/climb mountains to reach an objective that was on top instead of walking around to find a path.  Better direction would've been nice.  There's just so much to grasp to someone who wants to just jump in.

My gaming skills must've degrading because even 'casual' is a challenge for me.  But I'll chalk it up to the learning curve, I switched from daggers to a bow and I seem to be dying less [yay].  I'm sure there's more issues but my biggest concern is the freezing of missions, especially the Warden one. I'm even overlooking the fact that the female hairstyles were better in DA2.

We have a 360 and the game is unplayable for us. The graphics are pixelated, glitchy and clunky. People appear and then reappear at random. Textures are non-existent on most things, though at random again they appear fine (for example Leliana looks great) and I can't read most of the writing. It's just... WTF. And we've only been on for a short while. I have yet to experience all the other things people are complaining about. For us it looks like it's been created by amateurs.

And as for MP? Dear God, don't even get me started. You can't even move the camera to see where you are going, for one...

More and more it looks to me as though BioWare basically never bothered spending much time optimizing for the PS360 game. The PS3 vs PS4 comparison posted earlier really reinforces this notion. PS3 footage looks essentially like the developers brute-forced their way down to the lowest possible setting needed to achieve the target framerate, with little to no attention paid to visual fidelty.

I'm playing the game on Xbox One so none of this is of particular concern to me, but what's obvious is obvious.

It doesn't seem like the game was properly tested at least for different console versions PS3 and XBOX360 have since some seems to have game almost without bugs and some have many game-breaking issues. I do agree that they didn't make the game best possible for old gen cause then it would look gorgerous as Skyrim and ME3 for example which are very pretty and without low graphics : / Maybe these are just start issues and they will patch game lot better, one can only hope.

Problems on my xbox 360:

Small text that makes me sit less than 5 cm form tv screen,

texture for beards are just outrageous. I think this is problem for all ports.

slow leveling. I am lvl 8 and most of the enemies in the games are now marked red.

Load time is bullcrap. DA:O and DA2 loaded faster than this.

Faster running motion needs to be added. Even with the mounts I feel like I'm traveling only at 10 mph.

Combat system needs improvement. I am tired of attacking thin air because of the terrible targeting system

I have bought Assassin's Creed Rogue instead  and enjoying myself so far. Sorry, BioWare.

And please don't mess up the next Mass Effect for PS4 and Xbox One, I don't want to buy a Gaming-PC.

Id be enjoying the game on 360 despite the graphic and sound issues if it wasnt freezing randomly all the time.

Is anyone else falling through floors during the Redcliffe Castle mission? -.-
It is making this game unplayable.

Did they even test the 360/PS3 versions before they came out?

You don't have bugs and issues then? What console version you have?

I played the game from 10 hours Now. So far I didn't have Many problems. My brother is playing as well (though be played Less then me), and he had the same situation. So far the console didn't freeze of crash.
Though the console (60 GB fat From 2008, around 30 GB or available space) wasn't on for more then 6 hours straight. Don't know if This affects anything.

first day I played, it froze once, But since then I've been playing it for hours and it hasn't crashed or anything. and about loading times... I don't know if it's just me, but it doesn't seem that long. lol unless your 25-30 seconds of waiting is too long in your standards, I don't know. Next time I'll use a stop watch.

I also haven't had any sound issues... yet

Okay, so after further gameplay, I have run into a few bugs. The conversation with Cass in Haven was kinda awkward. It completely halted for about 30 seconds before I was able to skip. Then the first cutscene in Val Royeaux(sp?), there was no sound AT ALL, and I had to reload. Also had one case of the gibberish dialogue with Iron Bull.

I wonder how many more bugs I will run into. Oh joy!

So could it be hard drive space that is an issue?

No idea. Only thing we seem to know is that physical and digital version of the game both have problems.

Have they fixed any of this yet? I have a girl friend playing on the 360. She's enjoying it, but she's experiencing audio glitches.
