^^ I have been wondering the same thing. Perhaps the big performance issues? One can only anticipate.

Well after months of nothing from BW and a game i cant play i have traded in my copy

DAI was the only RPG i had and was interested in this year, i was getting pissed off everytime i seen it sitting there then want to play in the hopes it would work but kept freezing, crashing(during conversations), armor making arms/legs disappear, and companion quest not working(also crashed) i just couldnt stand looking at it anymore

The dragon age games have been my favorite RPG series and i love the lore but BW has yet to acknowledge the problems with this game on old gen consoles and bugs on all platforms

I dont own a 360 anymore so i cant play DAO or DA2 anymore and DAI was suppose to be my escape from the real world like DAO and DA2, it saddens me that i traded it in(first time for a bioware game) but i will still lurk here to support ps360 players with problems and hope that one(patch5?) or two(patch6?) patches fixes this game, if so then i will rent the game and play it

I feel the same about that last highlighted part.I have finally decided and  already started saving up to get a PS4(Or XBOXOne) on Christmas 2015.(Even though I'd like love to have a gaming PC, that will have to wait until I have a real job of my own to afford such fancy stuff, until then a 400 euro console bundle will be my gateway drug)

The only difference is that because of what Bioware "pulled" on old gen player,  I will most certainly NOT buy a brand new sealed Dragon Age Inquisition copy.I will get a 2nd hand.

But The Witcher 3...Oh I'm getting that s*** most definitely new.Can't wait!!!!!

Yes indeed, tis about the only thing giving me a spot of hope, as well. It is slowly but surely creeping higher and higher, I just wonder what is going to be enough. We have had increments of progress (though most of them have been telling us to shut up and keep our trousers on) so we aren't entirely being ignored any longer, just haven't been given any real answers or even a crude timeline of sorts. Don't know if that counts for much, and perhaps I am grasping at straws, but there it is.

 

Either way, I will be here til the bitter end.

Yes we are on the right track... but it's a lonely trail of splintered wood, rusty marlin spikes and the ghostly wail of spectral locomotives which echo in an abandoned mine that the company left to the mercy of dust storms, cave-ins and the flooding arising from the bitter tears of broken hearted prospectors.

 

Still, Patch 6 yet to come, so good times, eh?

Bioware is at 1000% fault and this whole situation could have been totally avoided if only they had followed different paths before release.

 

Since they had announced this game for "old gen" when "current gen" was still "next gen" they should have put focus and more effort to holding their promise and make this work.OK,the game is massive and difficult to "fit" into old gen standards but they could have at least done some preliminary testing on various iterations/models of the PS360 to see if it's gonna work and after that they could have just done the honest-CDProjektRed-thing and say something like  "You know what?We're sorry to disappoint our fans but we sadly decided that we cannot release this on older consoles because it will lack a lot and it will end up disappointing our fans who trust us."

 

I bought an Xbox360 specifically for this game (Couldn't afford a proper gaming PC or a PS4/XBOne) and thank goodness I read old gen reviews and stumbled upon this thread back in December before I commited to spend 70 euros to get this game.At least something good came out the whole situation...I have a brand new Xbox360 and I am enjoying the Halo series,GTA V among other older games plus newer cross gen games like Far Cry 4 and Alien isolation which work like a charm.(I really needed a break from playing on my 13 inch laptop screen  hunched on a desk all day )

 

Anyway, I just hope everything works out for everyone who bought the game.Been following this thread for long enough and even though I don't own the game, I have stood beside you all and have done my part and will keep doing so.

Since you fairly recently purchased an Xbox 360, I would recommend a few games based upon some that you mentioned:

 

1.  Alice: Madness Returns (3rd person action, adventure, platformer shooter with puzzles!) - about $20-30 USD

 

2.  Bioshock (the 1st game) - Very good story driven shooter - about $10-20 USD

 

3.  Borderlands 2 GOTY (with all DLC) - FPS Action, Shooter with RPG elements (very funny humor) - about $20-30 USD

 

4.  Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition - 3rd Person Action RPG (very fun 4 player online co-op) - about $30 USD

 

5.  Dishonored GOTY - First Person Action / Stealth game, very good story - about $20 USD

 

6.  Dungeon Siege III - 3rd Person Action RPG (4 player online co-op) - about $10-20 USD

 

7.  Fallout 3: GOTY - Very good First Person RPG Shooter (with stealth options) - about $20 USD

 

8.  Kingdoms of Amular: Reckoning - Very good 3rd person Action RPG (with stealth options) - better than Fable - about $20 USD

 

9.  L.A. Noire - Story driven 3rd person Action Shooter (similar to GTA)  except you play as a 1940's Detective in LA - about $20 USD

 

10.  Wolfenstein:  The New Order - Very good FPS Story based Shooter (with some light RPG elements) - about $20-30 USD

Mostly adjustable subtitles is useful from that, but at least that's one of important things. Hopefully it works in practice and not just in paper ^^;

For me, it's Dorian. During the cutscenes, he had the goat on the tongue and his mustaches near the eyes... Creepy!

Dont do it! Patch 5 broke PS3. It wont auto disengage after combat anymore and when the inq speaks the mouth doesnt move.

Posting to say I'm another one who has the reflector-plate, plastic look to the hair... and also other things that I'm not sure should be shiny... like wood, for example.

 

That, said, I don't have this, so I guess I should count myself lucky?

I do get the Dorian one from time to time where his mustash goes into his nose and looks like nose hair. That one's funny, at least. 

 

I also have the glitch at the last Solas romance scene where he and the Inquisitor are kissing by the waterfall and the two of them completely meld together. That one's fun.

For people having the text issue, you can go into settings (at least on my PS3) and adjust "screen size" and basically zoom in on the screen. Pull the green arrows so they go toward and disappear into the corners of your tv screen. You'd think this would cut off a lot of stuff, but I've had no trouble playing since doing this and nothing seems to be restricted or cut off. I can read codexes now without an issue.

Had done this since day one : With 5mm text, I have SERIOUS issues reading something on the screen.
