When lighting the urns they need to be blue as in the correct pattern is: Blue-Blue-Blue-Blue-Blue-Blue, if you get any red fire you're doing it wrong.

Ok, so you don't need to skip that first statue the people saying that are uninformed.
If you go up the vine wall fence that gets you to the balcony, there is one side containing the door to be opened. The middle leading to the grand library and another side to the balcony.
It is on that other side about halfway down you'll see one of those statues and be able to open the single statue door.
Then open the bookcase door
Then open the urn floor
Grab the stuff from the library and return to the party and continue on with your game.
