I have read so many childish posts of how people saying the controls are bad and suck for pc let's burn down bioware... just grow up please...

So you don't like the controls for pc... Then go out and buy or use an already existing controller and play the game and it is soo much more better and enjoyable you will not regret it...

Now I also hear "wwaaa I don't wana play an rpg with a controller waaa (stamps feet like a kid)" just grow up please and stop being stubborn and childish there is a solution to play the game... use a controller. ... If you want to be stubborn and childish about it then stop posting get a refund and just shut up...

I own Pc and xbox one version and i play pc with a controller and i love it stop keep saying useless bad things about a game that don't even have anything wrong with it your just nit picking...

The controls for PC are indeed bad but it isn't anything that a few tweaks in the key bindings can't solve.

I do not play any game with gamepad. Tried it once and it made my fingers cramp up. After 20 minutes I simply could not continue.

I have never owned or used any xbox or playstation before in my life. I play games on PC using external keypad (Nostromo) + mouse. Really enjoyed the previous Dragon Age games, but I wouldn't enjoy any game with a weird controller device that makes my fingers hurt.

Would you tell a console player to connect a keyboard and mouse to play a game properly?

 

The controls are retarded in this game, but it's especially bad because they didn't have to be this way. It's not like we're playing a racing game or a flight simulator where using a controller would make more sense. No, the controls could very easily have been made excellent for PC users but lazy developers didn't care much.

 

EDIT: Also, a controller costs around 25$ where I live. I shouldn't have to shell out that kind of money just to be able to enjoy a 70$ game.

I'm a kbnm player. I like it. I don't like controllers. And you sure as hell can't tell me to just change my playstyle. I'm an amputee and controllers suck for me but even if i wasnt i prefer my mouse.

With that said the issues aren't that bad, but get off your high horse

People had an expectation about how the game would play.  It doesn't play like that.  They're angry.

 

But it still plays a lot better than DA2 did.  I would happily endure Inquisition's Tac Cam than play DA2 ever again.

Haven't even played the game, myself, never complained about it either. Still trying to find out whether there is some kind of problem with the controls before I buy it.

 

Controls worked just fine for me in DA2. Played the entire game in the paused tactical menu and had absolutely no problems with the combat using KB and mouse. Only issues I had with DA2 were the repurposed level maps, lack of side quests, lack of exploration etc.

I don't like using a controller. Would you tell a console player to sit in his couch with a big ass keyboard and mouse setup?

 

I shouldn't have to use a controller. The devs could very easily have made the controls another way, but instead they just straight up ported console controls to the PC.

 

What if the console version required you to constantly move a cursor around on the screen to click on things with your little joystick? Would you feel that was fun?

No problems so far, M+K works fine.
The whiners are just bad.
Controller is for scrubs.

Same story as with dark souls... "This game is unplayable with M+K! USE CONTROLLER!". Had absolutely zero problems playing with M+K and when trying to play DS on a console at a friends house... it was horrible.

Unfortunately there are many console peasants who thinks that they are PC master race, while actually being a console peasant /w a PC.

I'm glad for it. By being a PC gamer - I knew I was nobility. But seeing so many other PC-gamers fail at our own tools makes me realize that I'm not nobility but a king. Maybe even a god!

Most people have problems with Tactical camera on PC. Problem that they have with it is - Tactical camera is not tactical and it is not made for PC.

 

From the gameplay videos I've seen, it certainly doesn't look like tactical camera is made for gamepad either. Gamepad might work for people who just rely on AI tactics and play in real time without tactical pausing, but otherwise, seems extremely unwieldy for micromanaging companion actions. As bad as KB&M might be, I can't imagine it could be worse than using gamepad for this.
