So what's your favourite class to play as so far?

I'm way sure that enough time has passed for most of us to try out different Inquisitors to try out different classes. Which do you enjoy the most, at least up to the point you've played so far.

I gotta say, I've gone furthest with the Mage but I like the feel of the Warrior way more than in past DA games.

The mage feels a bit underpowered, but it has a lot of cool lockdown abilities and great crowd control which makes it fun to play. The way I've specced it so far I can cast spells without cooldown if I hit with a critical, which is pretty rad. I haven't even unlocked the higher spells yet.

The biggest problem with mage is that unlike Rogues and Warriors there's little to do but pray for the best if you happen to draw enemy aggro. Freakin' animals and ninjas tear through me like a hot knife through butter. Yes, Fade Step is a great move but it's not as good as completely dropping aggro like Stealth or eating Aggro for breakfast like the Warrior does.

Speaking of Warrior... it feels great, like I said. Using taunt to draw aggro AND to build Guard and Armor is pretty cool and even a sword + shield warrior early game hits like a truck. The only problem is missing with basic attacks, but I think that could be mitigated with moves that draw you into the battle. My second full playthrough will definitely be sword and board.

Anyway enough about me, how about you guys?

Any thoughts on rogue? I'm really tempted to be a mage for my first playthrough but I've always been human rogue for first playthroughs and I'm hesitant to break that tradition :P

Well I've tried both daggers and archer and I gotta say they feel pretty good. They do a crap-ton of damage if you do an attack while in stealth. Plus stealth is really handy on dropping aggro.

With rogue you just wanna pop stealth, get behind a dude and use your best attacks, like in any DA game. Like the warrior there's a small problem of missing regular melee attacks, you gotta push forward if you want to get someone who's moving away from you, but they do great damage, can get away from trouble easily and they're pretty fun to play.

Same with archers. They do insane damage while stealthed. Great for clearing out those ranged mobs which can be catastrophic to a party if left unchecked. For big dudes, stealth to escape is handy but archers have abilities that can get them out of melee range and counterattack, which is pretty fun.

All in all I'd say you wouldn't go wrong going rogue, especially an archer. It's like the fun of mage ranged attack with the hard-hitting of a warrior and the escapability of a... well.. rogue.
