I'd been looking forward to playing a qunari and took great joy in smacking my head against low hanging lights that smaller races would simply walk under but... I am a qunari in name only!

1) I cannot wear war paint because it is 'qunari restricted.' I can only wear helmets made to fit humans, elves, and dwarves.

2) My Antivan advisor wants to talk to me about my noble family in Ostiwik and whether they'll support the Inquisition.

I want to be an authentic qunari, so I've taken to scowling and being rude, but it's not enough!

Are you really trolling the fact of having chosen a human warrior/rogue and roleplaying him/her as a VIDDATHARI?
Or are you talking about a bug?

If the first, stop trolling.
Even the Qunari you choose on starting screen is only a Tal-vashot, so instead of calling 'em Kossith they have called 'em Qunari.

She's talking about a bug with the race flags for Qunari that seems to be affecting some players.  First i've heard of it not allowing warpaint though.

This happened to me too. Restarted, was able to equip Vitaar, and all the plot flags seemed to be working that time.

You mean restart the game or start a new game? Because if it's the second, I think I'm 8 hours in now, so I'm not really interested in making a new character.
