On the Xbox One: Some armors aren't rendered for Qunari?

Is that the case on the PC version?  (I actually have both - but it doesn't run on my surface, so I just play on my Xbox one when I'm at home) - but I had made a Qunari rogue - got to Haven and purchased the scout armor - and I noticed it's not rendered (or looks like the 'naked' armor...)

I also noticed on female elves; the armor 'poofs' out from their bodies and makes them look pregnant (that same armor).

Anyone else noticed anything weird like that on the PC version?  Or is it bugged?

It's a major bug not limited to Xbox One. I've experienced the same thing on PS4 with my Qunari Warrior when trying to equip the Inquisition Foot Soldier Armor.

http://forum.bioware...nari-armor-bug/

It literally does not render the proper armor. And when you go on to equip said armor, it will show your Inquisitor in his pyjama-style undergarments.

Most players also report the only armor that appears properly when equipped is the standard Defender Coat, Mercenary Coat, Mail Vanguard and Defender Armour styles along with the DLC armour. All of these are sets you get in the beginning of the game. Nobody wants to get to Level 23 at the end of the game and not have bad-ass armor to equip. I'm guessing heaps of players rolling a Qunari don't even realise it's a glitch just yet.

Really, really irritating bug that needs to be fixed but most likely BioWare will ignore it.

I havent seen this bug yet, technically, havent seen any yet. I do know they are working on patches to fix several. I think most of the bugs are on the PC version though.

It is not a bug, stand alone armor (the ones you cannot add arms and legs to) are not available to the Qunari. Kind of makes sense.. there are no Qunari in the Orlesian army, there are no Qunari wardens, no Qunari seekers until now, etc etc etc.

Okay, so confirmed that standalone armor like Templar Armor and Warden Armor is race-restricted and Qunari can't wear them? Or can they wear them but nothing unique renders?

The specific bug we're talking about is when Qunari characters equip universally available armor (armor which isn't race-restricted) like, for example, the Inquisitor Armor sets (Inquisitor Foot Soldier for Warriors, Inquisitor Scout Armor for Rogues, and Inquisitor Battlemage Armor for Mages). When I equipped my Qunari warrior with the Inquisitor Foot Soldier armor (which is available to Qunari characters), it doesn't render ANYTHING resembling armor.

What it renders/equips is the pyjamas.

So... yeah. It's a bug. Unless you believe Inquisitor Foot Soldier armor, which appears as plate armor on all companions and other Inquisitor races, should look like pyjamas on a Qunari.

What part of "Stand alone armor ARE NOT AVAILABLE to Qunari" do you require me to expand upon? I thought I made it pretty clear.

Or... maybe... and it is a just a crazy theory... but just maybe... the Inquisitor armor.. those three rubbish little STAND ALONE armors at the start, may just very well have a tag or variable in the code listing them in the STAND ALONE category in turn restricting them to NON QUNARI ONLY.. and like all the other text bugs DB missed, they left out the "Dwarf, Elf and Human Only" Label because it renders on Varric and everyone else EXCLUDING Iron Bull.

Calm down. 'Standalone armor' was a bit unclear to me, didn't know you were referring to all 'Unique/Special' armor sets in general. I'm not that far into the game as you evidently, no need to be a smart-ass.

Besides, the OP was specifically talking about the Inquisitor Scout Armor in Haven at the beginning of the game and the bug that is present with that item on Qunari characters (which I also experienced). It doesn't render, so assumed the bug was also present in other later armor sets.
