Just wondering, do all upgrades work for that entire class? For example, I upgraded my Legionnaire's Plate with Defender Coat Arms and Defender Coat Legs, could I have used those upgrades on, say, a Katari or Templar? Thanks in advance

I'm not sure but i don't think so

If i'm correct, each character has an specific armor (Legionnaire only wear Legionnaire armor), but for weapon you can use same weapon on different character

Armor is class specific, weapons can be transferred between any character who uses they same type. Templars and legionnaires for example.

No, I know that, I meant the upgades, not the armor itself

Upgrades get consumed when you apply them to an item.  Since armor is class specific, the answer is no, as the upgrade would be applied to that specific piece of armor.
