not got the game yet, its on dispatched, for everyone whose played shall my first inquisitor be mage or archer?
Since my favourate two companions are Varric and Sera both of which are archers, being a third archer seems overkill. So I've stated as a dagger rogue. I deceided against being a mage, as I was pissed there was no blood mage option.

yeah im leaning towards the mage solely for game play reasons, but im also tempted to save that class for when I attempt insanity difficulty, archers have looked pretty sweet in all the game play videos I've seen, can you not respec companions I thought you could?

You can give varric daggers but then I believe ive seen videos where he has daggers and still talking about Bianca. So yeah thats kinda a killer for me and plus I run archer also but party is 2 archers mage and sword and shield atm. Waiting to get other ppl then probably switch it up and be the only archer and roll with sword and shield, two handed, archer and mage. But I love my ar her class its alot of fun and I think its help me get use to the game mechanics. Being able to sit back and rain arrows while directing my party.
