So I haven't made it very far in the game yet, but I still have not gathered all of the companions, I think. With no story spoilers, when will I be able to get the rest? So far the only companions I have gathered (not counting the ones you start with from the tutorial level) are Vivienne and Blackwall. I have heard of at least two others. I am only asking because if it is an optional mission, I don't want to miss getting a companion. It has happened before to me in DAO my first time playing :/

If you've heard of them, then you have the quests to recruite them. You just have to go somewhere other than the Hinterlands to find them.

What I mean is, I have heard of them on this board and others, not yet in game. Just worries that I may have missed my chance to recruit them.

You get Sera's recruitment quest "The Friends of Red Jenny" in Val Royaex by looking at an arrow shot on the ground. If I remember right, the ground beneath the arrow was glowing blue. It'll have a letter attached that starts the quest. You can get Iron Bull's quest by talking to a soldier named Krem in your base at Haven.
Dorian and Cole I believe you get in the main story line. I sided with the mages and got Dorian first, then Cole later on. It's probably the other way around if you side with the templars.
