I imported a world state from the keep where the Warden was a female elf mage. When asked about the Warden, Leliana used the pronouns "he" and "him". The keep shows that the world state was exported properly, it seemed to import correctly at character creation, and the scant other mentions of the Warden have been consistent. Could be an import issue or a dialog issue or just poor Leliana getting knocked out too many times in Origins. Anyone else see something like this?

If you want to check which world state is in use by your playthrough check the world states menu and then go to playthrough world states.

I've got a similar problem. The world state to be exported to DAI according to the Keep didn't quite make it there.

My world state didn't make it to the game either! I was so confused that the warden was an elf who died.  I played a dwarf who lived.  And apparently Hawke is a guy in this world, I always played women.  The keep says the world was imported, but that didn't exactly happen!  I'm frustrated because I sunk in so much time before I realized it was wrong.

Thanks, I'll check that out tonight. I don't think it's using the defaults, though. All my Hawke details so far have seemed accurate, and the Hero of Ferelden was definitely a mage, and not the Dalish that I think the game picks for the default world state.

Okay, crazy, when my worldstate was exported to the game, the selected DA:O character changed from the female elf mage I used in my first playthrough to some random male elf mage I created temporarily at some point and quickly deleted. As far as I can tell, every other setting went through correctly, just with the character change. I reported the bug on the Keep. Hopefully they'll be able to track this down to prevent this from happening to someone else. Otherwise, it's not a big enough deal to trigger a restart, I'll just assume that the good people of Ferelden have difficulty distinguishing elven genders.

Leliana is probably confused about the Warden because s/he cut her head off in DA:O and somehow here she is alive and well running the inquisition. Retcon much? I wonder how many other "significant choices" didn't happen even though they did.
