Had a couple of these in my last few games... you guys are awesome. Crazy damage, and they didn't seem to have much trouble staying alive. I love seeing these guys in my lobby. Might my next target to craft.

Try the Reaver . they are awesome if you have a good 2H weapon. I forget the name of it, but the bottom right power on their left side tree is virtual god mode.
increased attack speed, extra damage and life leech

The Arcane Warrior is a solid character but I can't take him seriously because of his goofy look. Whoever designed his appearance should be smacked upside the head.

Thanx for the tip up... might have to try that.

Here is a gameplay video with low level Arcane Warrior. Even low levels he is destroying people. But he has good gear too.

In the mean time, Necromancer is heaps fun and alchemist is good too.

I've found it hard to get into the Alchemist and Reaver because of the lack of ranged skills. My Arcane Warrior is awesome though. Definitely want to unlock Elementalist (played with one of these in party and it was insane damage) and the Necromancer (curious about how it is).
Personally I think the Mages are amazing in DAMP ![]()

Yeah I have all the classes unlocked but 2. Arcane Warrior is my favorite. I have him at level 12 and have a level 15 epic staff with 92 dps for him. Basically gives him life back after killing an target. Always come out on top with 2 golds so far. cant wait to get home to play again....work is killing me lol.

I unlocked him and tried to level him up this morning, but had the GPU glitch twice.

Pls keep same class discussion in same thread. There is a place for that.
I'm pretty sure there are moderators on this website, and that there's a lot of place in the internet for one more thread.

I hate the look and don't like playing mages, so I'll probably never craft his armor, but I always am relieved to see one on the team. I don't know if they're a great character or just attract great players, but kudos for not being an Archer.
I'd like to introduce you to my Archer sometimes. ![]()

If you're good at it, sure. It definitely seems to be the class choice of amateurs though. On 360, at least, it's hard to find a game where there's less than two of them.

That's true, pug Archers are terrible. But mine can crit for 3100 damage with Full Draw and today I got a Ring that gives him +30% power damage. With a good bow he is one of the best damage dealers right now.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong with mine, but he sucks, REALLY bad. He's level 10, I went down the mentalist tree and I am hitting enemies for 15 damage. I have a rare fire staff that does 84 damage and I'm doing 15! I generate 0 shield due to my terrible damage. I'm assuming its because the mentalist tree gives very few + magic perks for its skills. REALLY wish there was a way to check your stats, if your skills are giving you + stats (along with weapons and gear) then why the hell isn't there a way to look at exactly what your character can pull off?
I figure'd I'd go down the mentalist tree since I was hyped to play a MELEE mage, and thats the tree with his spirit sword so I assumed that was the tree that would focus on that, and it sort of does, at the very least you need to put some points into that tree to even get the barrier generation. Really annoying that the only way to respec is to reach 20, it's going to be such a grind when my character is this awful -.-

My 87 dmg staff means my Blade hits for between 250-350 damage on a normal Routine enemy. And I've only gone down the Mentalist tree so far, so not sure why you're doing so little damage.

My blade does do around that much, but my staff shots hit for piddly. Even with the blade doing around that much, it generates BARELY any barrier. I've heard stories of people running around with constant full barrier as a AW, how?? The blade does DECENT damage, nowhere near what my necromancer does at the same level with walking bomb though >.> But still, with him barely getting any barrier I'm reluctant to run up into an enemy and start swinging away, without barrier AW are extremely squishy.

The problem is you are using your staff shots as anything more than a pot breaker.
You are an arcane WARRIOR. You did not learn these ancient secrets to spout incoherent nonsense and throw colorful balls around. Now go forth and slash your enemies with your magic lightsaber!

B-but I see AWs using spells and staff shots and tearing enemies up! T.T One lightning strike and they have full barrier and half the enemies in the room are dead. Does not compute.

Your situation does seem weird. With an 84 dps staff you should be doing between 40-50 damage per hit from your shots, and should be able to at least get 1/3 barrier from a non-upgraded chain lightning against a group. Only thing I can think of is that somehow it's acting like you have the default staff equiped instead of your rare one. try messing around just switching between the two and see if it will eventually recognize that you have the right one equipped.

Well that was weird, even though it APPEARED like I was using my 84 dps staff (it had the correct model) apparently I really was just using the inquisitor one, yay for more bugs. The damage and barrier generation is still pretty lackluster though. Maybe I just shouldn't expect arcane warriors to be able to compete against necromancers (but then again, who can). Still not thrilled with him. They look so cool but I don't know, maybe the other tree is more fun? Does the rift spell actually do damage or does it just clump enemies together?
