Good day everyone,

 

So after completing the templar questline and obtaining Skyhold I get the option to promote a new templar Knight-Commander. The quest tells me to "Promote Sir Barris" in the throne room of (presumably) Skyhold, since the quest is under the Skyhold quest tab.

 

However, I do not have an activator in the throne room and the quest arrow leads me nowhere, in addition to that the quest suddenly appeared in my questlog this morning without any indiction as to why it is there (Probably because I send out an agent to something).

 

Does anyone know what I should do? Is this a bug of some sort?

I just ran into this same thing, no quest marker on the map at all, I've reloaded the game, re-entered the area, etc.  Nothing seems to allow me to trigger it.  Thinking this is a bug :/

FYI.

This is fixed by capturing someone else and judging them. You'll get to promote Sir Barris first, and after that the judgement happens.

 

I think they forgot to trigger in the throne activator for this quest.

Soo, Ser Barris is alive in your playthorugh? I guess he doesn't die by default then and I should've reloaded that templar quest. Dammit...
