I had a quest pop up on the Orlais side of my War Room map that said "Investigating Serault" and the little blurb for the mission essentially sounded just like DA:TLC. Now, I find it hard to believe that DA:TLC has no influence on this mission. If it doesn't it seems kind of ridiculous. Was interaction between what happened in DA:TLC and DAI commented out at the last minute in the final builds of DAI, DA:TLC actually does influence DAI, or this is just one big coincidence...?
DA:TLC Has No Impact On DAI, Or That Was A Fib?

They just said multiple times: The Last Court is a fan-service but it can leads to some future Dragon Age entries.

Here I was worried that I didn't complete it in time would affect the game as I was already finishing the Hinterlands in my first playthrough. I had to convince myself that the game wouldn't be affected. Then I get a "Shame-less Serault" ending and it says the record will be saved to the keep when I was working on fixing a broken world state and I stopped for a second and think...."Wait... This IS going to affect my game?!" While I'd prefer the opposite, I hope it doesn't affect DAI.

Heya, just want to jump in and clarify here. Serault on the war room map is just a reference - it doesn't have any effect on Inquisition itself. And although it says The Last Court saves your achievements to the Keep, it essentially acts as a record, but not as a flag that is imported anywhere.
Hope that helps!

Notice that the Last Court, while in the Keep, is not attached to any world state. Also, it tracks how many times you've completed it. It's unlikely it will ever affect anything unless they change how it is set up.

That was my theory, at least. Thanks.

In addition to what I already mentioned, the Last Court allows you to declare what happened to Carver Hawke, which dictates if Hawke was a mage or not, which is something you decide in the Keep.
