Thats why I stalled out on human as well; the noble origin. I tried mage to avoid it but inexplicably despite being a Circle mage you're still nobility with ties to your family. It's very un-Circle magey. I mean in Origins you got hauled off at a young age never to see your family again. In this I apparently even kept my family name despite being a Circle mage.
Couldn't agree more. In Origins you at least get the cool Batman-like twist to your noble's story, if you went non mage route, but in this game you're just kinda of a rich ***hole (yes, I know you can roleplay not to be, but still).
Bethesda doesn't have to worry about 3rd party plugins that require user licensing in their engine. Bioware does.
