If I had it my way, the circles would be a haven/sanctuary for mages to live, study, and practice their art. They would be in control of themselves, not under Templar or Chantry control. And they would not be ripped away from their families, or denied the chance to have a family. I wholly agree with Andraste's chant of 'magic should serve man, not control them'. From my experiences in the da games, mages have only lost themselves to demons under two circumstances...in desperate attempt to survive under cruel pressure and imprisonment, and in youth if they are untrained and trained improperly.

And yet, I know no matter what choice I make, BW will probably screw me over in DA4. 
Is it so bad to want and hope for a beautiful future for both mages and elves? Is it so bad to believe that the southern mages could take this second chance, prove themselves, and not lead to another Imperium? 
My inner idealist wants to sulk in a corner right now..............preferably with a couple plushies and my Red Hart mount.
