Yes. It is out and nothing fixed. This game is worse than laceration. I expect pus and maggots to rain from it. One big flesh feast accompanied by the aroma of ammonia.

Yeah, I'm out until either BioWare or modders fix this problem. It's just way too distracting.
On a good note, the environments in this game reminded me of the Age of Conan MMO, which I played at release but hadn't picked it up again. I had forgotten how wonderful the music is in that game.

Yes, it is a beautiful example of how 'good looking' elvhes look in DA:I. They should have used this screenshot in adverts. I would not be here now, writing about about their incompetence and general lack of integrity.
For those of you who can't/ don't want to use Cheat Engine, to force armour on in Skyhold, I link this little gem. Does not fix the borken arms but it is (IMHO) miles better than standard pajamas. Still it's not quite there (a bit too flashy if you ask me) but we are getting some variety from the modders (Maker bless them). There's also a female version (which is even better IMHO).

Wow, those pjs look great! If I wasn't too scared to open the game after patch 3 I'd be trying them out on my elf and my human for sure. But no. Just No. I'm done until the game is fixed (no doubt by modders). Until then I am Commander LunaFancy in space and I just scored AC Black Flag for $14 on Ebay so Argh me matey's I be a poirate on the high seas. Kind of wish I'd been a pirate around the time I paid for DA:I, I'd be $90 better off.

wow...that's amazing. I've been hoping for some Dalish friendly retextures, instead of all this rather fantasy gothic stuff.
I actualy already finished Inquisition once, but I played as a human.
I don't know why, but I just went with human without thinking about it, even when I usualy pick elven characters.
Now that i wanted to replay the game on Nightmare, with a male Elf rogue, I have no words to describe my "anger" for this issue.
At the start of the game I didn't realy notice it, but when I got to Haven, after killing the Pride Demon, I just froze looking at the size of my Elf's head, and his super thin body and don't get me started on the arms...
I just can't play the game like this, first time I played through I went with an ugly ass human, I just couldn't make him look good at all, but I went with it. Now that I made a perfect looking elf, at least for me, I can't play cause he looks like a man made of sticks like the way I used to draw people when I was 5...
Now that I have the perfect character, he looks realy good, facial wise, but after the Pride Demon I just can't handle that body completely out of proportion..
I'm realy happy with how is face looks, and that's a new fealing for me, cause I realy didn't like the looks of my human, but I can't handle his body, I just can't!
Well, nothing will fix the bobblehead/bean shoulders and borked arms, but the Dalish PJ's are a massive improvement- I even dared to broach the post patch 3 game to try them out.
The moobs are less distracting at least.
And from behind it's just stunning.
Even the throne slouch is less horrible.
Honestly, the skill and talent displayed in the mod is awe inspiring. Just stunning. I have faith that the incredibly talented modders in the community will save the game in the end. I'll be waiting to finish playing until then though, it's just too depressing now.

How can a body so out of proportion be a design choice ? How can it be intended as such ? It's not normal, and Bioware's silence so long after the game has launched makes me nervous about this..

wah...they have!? seriously!? Can you point me to the fix? My inner completionist gets driven nuts by that bugged piece. (are we talking about the one that's bugged into the wall in the wolf's den, or the one you have to parkour to get to? Cause I got that latter one, but not the wolf's den one.)

Ouch, it won't start up for you? They purposely sabotaged your game, Surinen. Its a conspiracy. 
Anyway, I doubt we'd see a fix just a week after the 'big patch 3'. 
The male elf body is actually very relateable for someone like me. My height is 1.65 m and weight is 60 kg (5' 5" and 132 pounds for the Imperial unit folks) so the male elf body looks decent, because it is thin.
But then they had to go and ruin the whole damn thing by breaking the male elf shoulders and give him manboobs...
Sigh....
Did they fix it? Or is there no hope?
My guess is that the modders are the only hope.
For everything that needs fixing, if the last four patches are anything to go by.
Here I was ready to RIP this post. Seems like we've all just lot faith and care for the game. (I know I have.)
They didn't fix it, Zered. Sadly enough. And still no word that they are even really looking at it. 
But yeah...the modders. They are chugging along as hard as they can. I mean, we've already got mods that remove Dorian's facial hair, mods for retextured skyhold outfits, CE for armor in skyhold, etc... Plus people like Adala have already modeled hair and clothes, and are just waiting now for someone to figure out how to import models.
Of course...this won't fix the broken arms or the shallow quests...but meh. At least it makes the game a little easier to tolerate till endgame.
I'm probably late to the party but I'm just really glad I'm not the only one who thought that the elven anatomy was rather peculiar.
I'm also quite sure that this is nothing new, but I just want to post it for some sort of a sense of accomplishment.
As a sidenote I found this whole Tevinter business very interesting, unfortunately some kind of a memory leak has made my game unplayable.
Can I admit, that while I wouldn't mind something be done to change how the arms hang against my character's sides, I really don't mind his overall build? To me, it adds to his elfiness, as Sera would call it. And while Sera would sneer him, I think he's rather glad to be elfy, hehe.
Seriously, though, he doesn't look THAT bad. I did put a lot of work into making sure of it, but he turned out pretty decent, I think.
