Any word if the new patch has fixed this mess?

I'm downloading the patch right now, and I will make it a point to check.  My current playthrough is a guy Elf, anyway.  Big surprise, huh, lol?

I'm fully aware that there are less fortunate men. This is not about masculinity but adult male appearance, These(elves) are clearly little boys. Solas isn't the manliest man either but he is a man nontheless.

I've posted this picture before, but

The gentlemen on either side are Maasai.  They have thin shoulders and lean frames, but they are adult men.

But their arms are not glued to their body.

Yes, that's a problem.  The non-broad frame isn't.

Plot twist - The arm glue holds the secret to rediscovering Elvhen immortality. It appears that ancient Elves would enter Uthenara and drink a concotion made by mixing their armpit hair with some magical glue.

My elf stands right next to Solas and they look pretty much the same, in shape and body frame.  Let me see if I have a pic with them standing side by side.  Well, from the back at least:

No, not at all. They do not look the same.

Their shoulders are wider than that of elvhes but please, do not post disturbing pictures. I feel an urge to wash my eyes now. googling: muscles.

Maybe with an upcoming DLC Tresspaser, Tres bien or whatever its name is, they will fix it, finally. At this point I expect another chapter of debauchery than patch for something as elemental as broken-glued arms.

How is that a disturbing picture? Wow you must be a really closed minded person

Was it really a necessary comment? You could at least put it in the post on topic, in side notes or something. Your skill of observation serves you well, I'm a wow-a-really-closed-minded-person, treasures usually are protected. Their skinny arms are something I would put on wenches, not men: disturbingly ugly.

Yeah, well I would've posted something on topic and put it in side notes but if it means conversing with someone like you I think I'll pass thanks.

You are most graciously welcome. I rarely encounter people who know where is their place. Silence is golden.

Now-now girls lets go back on topic.

I have finally uninstalled DA:I. This sin will no longer cherish its foul presence on my disc. I will install it again after all DLCs come out. I don't know if this new tressomething is out but it is most definately the final chance for broken-glued arms to be repaired.

If they haven't fixed this yet, then they won't fix this at all. It is probably unfixable.

Are you on console? Because if not, there is a mod which makes the problem almost non-existent.

Any word if the new patch has fixed this mess?

Okay, so I went and played around with the wardrobe in and around Skyhold, and I nabbed several screenpics for preview of my own experience.  Mind you, I honestly can't say for sure whether there's any discernable difference, though.  I mean, seriously.  I have become rather accustomed to putting my Elves into armors that most flatter their frames and just selling off the ones that are grossly wrong.  I should probably go back and craft some of the older stuff, just to be absolutely certain.  But for now, this is what my guy Elf is looking like in the newest stuff.

DragonAgeInquisition%202015-09-05%2011-2

DragonAgeInquisition%202015-09-05%2011-5

Then I ran back out to the Western Approach, where I'm currently questing, too.

DragonAgeInquisition%202015-09-03%2001-0

DragonAgeInquisition%202015-09-05%2012-1

Hope that helps, Tielis.  Sorry if there's not some difference enough in more and varied armors, in my own small bit of time moving around the game.  I truly believe the issue isn't so much with the model as with the armors.  Which means the developers would need to redress each, seperate armor to make the issue less discernably problematic.  So that if you simply avoid those armors that are "broken" your character will look perfectly fine.

Edited to add: I don't use any mods to change up my characters' actual frames.  Tried them once upon a time, and I didn't like the result.  So my character, here, is unmodded.  Well, except for his hair and vallaslin, lol.

Ah, don't mind Surinen.  He constantly inspires me to make new guy Elves.  Honestly, anyone who has that many hissy fits over the way men can actually be shaped should be utterly surrounded by men who look just like that.  Man up and face your fears, I say.

No, I don't play on console. I think this mod has been posted here already. As far as I know it does not fix glued arms - or maybe broken ones? I would like to get an official fix. Can you use elvhen specific armours with this mod?

I know you want me to stay really, you seem quite taken with me

Oh, I don't wish you to go, just to stay on topic. With all sympathy I must deny it. You do not appear to be a right breeding subject for me.

I adore to listen about 'fears' coming from someone who adores little boys bodies and baby faces.

Yes, they do.

No, they don't. Please, listen to Tielis's suggestion and get your eyes checked. Personally I think it is a far bigger problem; warped perception, but eyes are a good start.
