Thank you for proving my point about your deficiencies. I did not say that I were playing this game. Perish the thought! In fact re-read my post
I were creating characters and running with them to meet Solas for the first time as it is the first spot where you can look at model and its problems. I don't see anything reasonable in complete playthrough to judge something that you can inspect in 10 minutes. I'm afraid to think what will you make out of this post. Did I ride a one legged drunken bear through fosse?
And my own sarcasm went completely over your head, obviously. Sorry ... let me be more clear. That you have only played the most superficial scenes of the story and only seen the model in such a limited perspective, that you've not tried to make any real difference aside from complaining here on the forums and attacking those who've actually played through using the model, and that you've never seen the character model in varied armors and locations and other sundry perspectives -- logically, any argument that you have to offer on this topic is only small, mean and really absurd. You basically don't have a leg to stand on in this particular argument.
But you are correct, that I honestly have no idea half what you say. What's a fosse?
You mean the keeper robes? What is wrong with them? I thought it is the only decent armor for the elves, so I don't mind the vanilla model.
Glued arms are still in, the only thing the mod does, is it makes the problem less prominent. Here is the meeting Solas scene with the mod:
*snip*
I've tried any number of armors on my characters, to see which ones least demonstrate "the broken-arms" effect. The vanilla pajamas were awful, for instance. There's also a coat that an Elf mage is wearing just following the prologue that is a pure disaster! That's the first thing I do in a playthrough, is talk to Segrit and lose that piece of mess armor.
Actually, the Hunter armors tend to be good on Elf characters. I try to nab snofleur skins in the Exalted Plains, stock up on them even so that I can make hunter armors for my characters. The enchanter armors aren't bad, either. But I go back and forth, depending on what looks best on my guys. There's Hunter armors like this one:

The newer armors in the DLC's seem to take the problems with the model into account, though. I've never had issues with those particular armors and get the best perspectives in scenes where my guys wear the newer stuff:

Some scenes just never work right, though. The confrontation with the Templars in Val Royeux is purely awful, with both the Inquisitor and Solas looking like they're suffering some sort of bone disease standing there. I wonder if the Gold Nug will allow us to use JOH armors at the start of a new game ... Hmmm.
With the mod, i personally quite like the stance from certain angles, makes my Elf look light and nimble, but maybe thats just me :/
I didn't like the mod. I felt it made my guy look like different body parts weren't in proper proportion, especially left his legs looking huge on his frame. I finally went back and left my characters looking willowy and lean. The most recent wardrobe changes remind me a lot of the modded look, though. Actually caught me by surprise, hehe.
Here's a backside shot:
