So, I received a one-handed sword from Multiplayer called The Dueling Blade.

 

And... it has a modification on it for +10% Focus Gain. There's no focus on Multiplayer, so... what? My best guess was that it might reduce the cooldown on the focus abilities turned into rehauled active abilities. But after some testing, that turned out not to be the case.

 

Bad item design oversight, or am I missing something here?

To my experience, almost all items offer random bonuses (aside from the Unique ones, I believe). It looks like there were a few modifiers the MP team forgot to take out of their equation. So yeah, I'd say it was a design oversight. Hopefully one of the many issues that is fixed in the coming weeks.
