Since the character upload is really buggy (especially the one from DAO) it would be nice if you could bring in a character customization feature for the keep. It could save us who struggle with the upload alot of time.

Well the keep already supplies default characters(different combinations race/class/origin/etc.) and you get to change Hawke's appearance in DA:I. So adding CC to the Keep is pointless and could add more problems than solving them.

True. I think most of us who are having problems don't want a full CC. We'd be happy if we could just name the characters.

 

Even though the name will probably only appear in Codex entries or something (if at all), it would be so much better than all the time and effort we've had to spend trying to get characters to sync.

They are not going to implement a 3D character model builder in HTML5 so that people can create still images that serve no purpose (and which would most likely look nothing like the chars made by the DAO and DA2 char builders). Just use the DAO char generator.

For the Warden, I agree(since at the moment Warden doesn't make a physical appearance). For Hawke, I would like to believe that when we meet Hawke in DA:I we will be able to change Hawke's appearance(confirmed) and name(hopefully).

I don't know. I would assume it's whatever name is in the Keep so, if your Hawke has synced, you'll get that name. If they haven't, you'll get the default name.

 

I braved the main DA:I forums earlier, and asked if someone who'd reached the Hawke part of the game could confirm whether it was possible to rename him/her when customising the appearance. They said no.

Ok, but looking at my playthrough state,my Hawke got reverted to default name and default appearance.(Hopefully DA:I took the custom name.  *fingers crossed* ).

 

 

If not,   great that means Edward,Tobias,Damon get reverted to Garrett and Alyssa,Maria,and Natasha get reverted to Marian.

I definitely now want the ability to change my heroes name in the keep .

I think what they probably did is just not use Hawke's name in DAI at all.
