Okay I have played very little on the PS4 so far so I know very little

 

Dragon Age Inquisition installed very quickly

 

Just after I started the game up I want to the dashboard and looked at information and there wasn't a progress bar anymore. It just said 45 GB. If it were still installing, should't there be a progress bar that I could see how far along it was? By the way I have the disk copy of the game.

 

Also I tried putting Alien: Isolation in and it went from 0-20 GB in less than 15 seconds. I also have the disk verion of this game How is this possible?

When you first insert the disc for PS4, it checks that you have enough disk space for the game.

It then reserves the space for the full install, and installs a small portion of the game (enough for it to start).

The game then continues to install in the background until it's complete.

 

Hopefully that clears it up.
