I'm completely lost. I just arrived in the area to raid Sahrina Quarry. For the life of me at the moment, I can't remember the area's actual name. I can't figure out how to get around or climb the mountain that is blocking my way to go South to get to the quarry.

 

Can anyone help me? I have been searching for almost 2hours I can't find anyway

I'm having a problem with this quest, too. I collected all of the letters and now I need to go to the quarry but no area is showing up on the war map for it.

Are the letters in that area? I can't find where I am supposed to go for them, there is no quest marker like the others.

I think the quarry is in Emprise Du Lion in Orlais. You have to open it up in the war room before it will appear on your map. The letters are hidden so you have to push V to find them. Also, just follow the road South from the campsite. It will weave a little bit (I think you can establish 2 more campsites before you actually find it), if there are any forks just keep to the road heading south.

I am stuck on Suledin keep because I thought that was the way to the markers, but there's no way down. Can you clarify for me? Sorry if I'm annoying, but I've been stuck on this quest for like two days lol

I can confirm, you need to open up that area XD Took me a while to figure that out too.

Hello, does anyone know what you have specifically do to trigger this quest. As I haven't been able to yet. Not sure whether I've just gone to far and just missed it.

While we're talking about this quest, does anybody know if there's a cutoff point for it? I hit a plot point where I'm battling Samson, and I would hate for the quest to be incomplete because of that. I'll actually reload an earlier save if that's the case but gdi it would suck since the plot quest I'm on is long.

 

EDIT: Well, I can confirm that this quest disappears upon starting/completing "What Pride Has Wrought." DO IT BEFORE THAT POINT!

I have a question for the following point of this quests. I already found the letters, talked to Cullen, went back to the dwarfwoman, went to the table, went to Cullen...

And he told me, that I have to find a guy called Maddox (I think that was his name, not sure). But I missed, what questpoint it is on the map, and now i cant find it either...

There's an extra marker on your map, one of the tiny ones like when you recruited Sera and Vivienne. Go there, Cullen will join you to beat up some Red Templars and finish off that questline.

Well, I have the same problem. Just can't find the operation for finding Maddox. Do I need some special area unlocked? Where St the war map it should be?

I'll bump this too, there is no Find Maddox operation on the war table for me. Is the quest completely busted and I'm just out of luck now our what?

Nef that operation was hard for me to find too, swing really slowly around Val Rouaux(sp?) I believe. It's in a mess of other operations so it's easy to pass over.

It's not hard to find, it's not there. It doesn't exist, the quest must be bugged out. I just spent a half hour puttering around the war table and it isn't there. The quest is constantly prompting me to go to the table, but all that's in that little cluster of poorly laid out nonsense is cloth, leather, and resources from Emprise du Lion and The Emerald Graves.

I just reloaded a save a save from about an hour earlier and it appeared. Reloaded my most recent one and it's gone again. It's actually right above and to the left of the Empire of Orlais mark on the map. Guess I'm fighting one of the Emprise du Lion dragons again. >.>

 

Edit: I think right before it disappeared I was talking to Cullen and it did the thing where it freaks out and keeps telling you a quest was completed. Maybe that bugged it out.

I'll stay watching the thread for anyone else who needs anything else. At least now we have proof it's one of those save and reload and check ones and exactly where that part of the mission is.

before going to the quarry remember to go to that map once lvl 16 or higher.

 

The map is a lvl 16 or higher map so going in early will get you killed.

Also, if anyone is having problem actually *finding* the Quarry which is step 3 I believe, the easiest thing to do is complete the Mission "Taking Back the Lion" and stop when you get to the Tower of Bone. The mission will want you to take back Sulidan's Keep, to the bott of the screen, the bridge past a giant siege arrow thing. Now that you have that camp it opens a bridge leading to the right of your screen. Select as your active quest Free the Captives and while you are running around doing that it will be in that Quarry where you use the LS and do your raiding.
If you have opened the area then you can just jump to the Tower of Bone obvs.

I did it before 16 on normal (maybe 13) but I was a Mage and had a Spirit Mage with me. Still had to port back I camp and run back bc of potion refill. No one respawns.

I'm at level 11 and I'm getting my a** kicked ! In that map and by bears else were.Why does it take so long to level up?
