If you think the bears are bad wait until you get to the lvl 23 high dragon.

Bears have nothing on giants. Only thing worse than a giant is two giants.

I died like 5 times trying to get the landmarks in the giant infested area of the Emerald Graves

I'm at the point where you talk to Dagna and you have to find Samson's weakness on the war table, but there is no icon for that on the war table. Did I miss something? My journal just says to go the war table, but there's nothing new there.

I'm having the same problem. I can't find the Sahrnia Quarry. The quest diamond shows up on in the darkened part of my map, but I can't find any way or path to get to the damned place. I've been retracing my steps for literally an hour, and this is my third attempt at trying to find it. It's incredibly frustrating.
Is there something that I haven't unlocked from the war table? (other than the bridge. I already did that and it takes me in the opposite direction). If so, I'm either overlooking it or it's just not there.
Are lots of people having this problem?

It seems so, the instructions are not the greatest. I have found that you need to do part of the quests in that area, the Corruption of Sarhina. You turn the quest in to the woman in the town...the yellow house I think. Then you will get a quest to save the miners and that seems to open the area up.
If anyone else knows of another way please let us know. ![]()

Since the Quest Map shows a colored trail of the path your character has traveled, it would be a great Thanksgiving treat if someone who has figured out how to get there could screen cap the map and post to show how they got there. ![]()
I've competed 13 of the Emprise du Lion side quests and I'm still walking around in circles trying to find a way to get to this damned quarry. It could be that the area hasn't opened up for some reason, but I honestly can't figure out why...if I'm doing something wrong or if it's a bug.

Ah, I found that fast travel point and was able to find the quarry (and, a very large dragon atop a building that I'm going to have to come back and kill later).
Thanks!

I did it before 16 on normal (maybe 13) but I was a Mage and had a Spirit Mage with me. Still had to port back I camp and run back bc of potion refill. No one respawns.
Didn't want to wait until level 16 either- why do they give it to you so early if you can't complete it until level 16?! I ended up just playing as Vivienne, killing enemies from high vantage points, and either using her force ability to resurrect fallen team mates or running away after my party members died. It was more difficult than it should have been but totally worth it to finish it off.

I'll stay watching the thread for anyone else who needs anything else. At least now we have proof it's one of those save and reload and check ones and exactly where that part of the mission is.
I'm having the same issue- I have no mission to "dispatch agents to find Maddox." I have a mission to "track down Samson" but I'm scared if I complete that I will lock myself out of Cullen's quest and I really don't want to do that. How did you fix it? I can revert to a save right before I talk to Cullen about Maddox but that's as far back as I can go without losing about 10 hours. Do I just keep saving and reloading hoping it pops up? Also: when I complete the Maddox convo with Cullen a notification pops up: "Track down Samson" war table operation now available. Are these the same missions or is this just totally bugged? Could you provide a picture of where it is on the war table? Please and thank you?!

I just cleared out the quarry to free the villagers but I am unsure how to complete the storm the quarry portion of the quest. There aren't any markers either :/

Did you collect the letters from Samson as you cleared the quarries? You had to use the search ping to find them. (Push down on the left stick on PS4- don't know the PC control)

I can't do those quests , I have the smugglers letters from the Emerald forest place but Cullen disappeared from Skyhold .
It seems something bugging with Sera's prank quests...
I can't reload (well I could but I did Sera little quest something like 30 hours ago...) so I'm stuck.

I completed this part of the quest instantly because I got this after I went through Sarhnia, so weird. OP just run around everywhere, you should use your Search whenever you reach sort of "checkpoints" you know where big fights are in the area. Also there might be some things on the templars themselves too, I just cleared out that whole area because it was part of the quest there
and my Cullen quest moved past it.

I am also missing the finding Maddox mission on the war table. :/

I had this issue today and I refused to load back. After screwing around for awhile I triggered something that made the game reconfirm that i had completed several quests. Like it showed the little blimp, sound effect, etc on screen as if I had just completed them. I did this accidentally when I was in the journal, selecting already completed quests. I selected one (I think it was to do with my tower upgrade) and when I came back out of the menu all of this happened. I then went back to the war table (immediately) and was able to select the mission (it was most certainly not there before).

I'm at "What Pride Has Wrought." Before starting it, I've been finishing up loose ends. I happened to come across a post about "Before the Dawn." I talked to all the colleagues and insiders every time I hit Haven or Skyhold. I've never had Cullen offer me the quest. In fact I was wondering why there was no Cullen side quest. The only options I have when I talk with him are "Anything I should know" and "Tell me about your colleagues." I've checked a number of Skyhold saves, going back to when I first got there, but haven't found any with other interactions. Is there something I need to do before talking with him?
