When ywhen you get to skyhold you can craft the inq gear and its rly good. The only crafting armor iv found so far that has abilitys on it. That being said i like how its not like origins or 2 pre order/ DLC items that were miles ahead of anything you found in the game.

Aren't those weapons just for the pre-order bonus? Were they specifically part of the Deluxe?

I wore the deluxe ed armor for an hour as I gathered materials around haven then the first armor I found on a drop was better. :\

Not the soundtrack? Not the schematics to build better versions? Or anything? Just the early weapon.

Ooh looking forward to this. I really like how the armor looks and was disappointed it had to get replaced so quickly.

Has anyone verified yet that we can indeed craft this armor/weapons to higher level at SOME point in the game? I got to wear mine all of half an hour before it was way below level. Also, can we sell any of it and still be able to craft later? Thanks!

I think the main benefit for the pre-order weapons is the fire-rune, but otherwise yeah, the weapons get outclassed very quickly.

I had the exact same thought when I found a better staff (I'm a mage) after a few hours in game, I was like: "What? Staff of the Dragon, yeah right!" I just kept it for the design... If only we had a storage box... I may end up selling it for a full 20 coins in the end... 20 COINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm RICH!!!

agree totally the gear is crap,did not even come with a helmet as indicated on the slip that had the code on it. give us our money back

You do get the schematics. I'm not sure where I looted them, but I got them around the same time I got the Skyhold. They're tier 2 armour / weapon schematics.

Like 10 minutes after I got the pre-order weapon I found a better one and by the time I got the schematic I already had a better one then it could make as well. Not sure how I feel about it though. Seems kind of silly to get an OP weapon early on in the game anyways, also seems silly to get a useless one as well. Would have been better in my opinion to get some kind of really cool looking cosmetic skin for some thing in the game. Perhaps a set of nice looking helmets because I pretty much hate every single last helmet I have seen for the past 42 hours of gameplay.

You get them once you get to Skyhold. They're still only a Tier 2 schematic, so won't be best equipment in game. However, they're some of the best at the time unless you've spent a bunch of money already.

I actually carried the weapon for a long time, I think I reached level 8 or so before I found anything better.

And yes, the schematics are available from a special delivery chest in the crafting area of Skyhold.
