Key Bindings
Changed movement/strafing keys. The original key binding would see me rotating the
camera instead of moving. Most hilarious during combat

Move-Left (Tac Cam)------------ A
Move-Right (Tac Cam)---------- D
Turn-Left (Tac Cam)------------- Q
Turn-Right (Tac Cam)----------- E

Search for loot key re-assigned to Left-Alt key from V key.
Jump Key ---- Space bar
PAUSE/UNPAUSE ---- Left-CTRL

Movement and Selection

Just came off playing DAO and DA2. So, I was used to the Kb+M controls

The new Keyboard and mouse controls were very awkward, right off the gate. I found myself attacking my companions or firing in the direction I was pointing. My intent was to select my companion or move forward using the Left Mouse Click (IE: M1). Counter intuitive? For me? YES!

Selection of crafting materials when exploring is a pain. You get an audio feedback when something is available nearby. That is good. The bad? The highlighted material can blend in the background making it very difficult to find, if not near. Also, you MUST walk to it until you see an animation that tells you you can pick it up. Not a good design choice.

In essence... DAO and DAI mouse controls were simply NOT what I expected and was mighty pissed off about it. I'm adjusting.

Tactics
Oh, where do I start? My beloved Tac list from DA2 is gone. I expected improved tactical combat and instead we have... well, I don't know what we have, how to use or if they even work. During early combat phases, my ranged characters (Solas and Varric) thought they were melee warriors, 'cause they went close and personal with the enemy. Range characters don't auto dis-engage and move to "higher" ground, as they should. AI? what AI?

Tactical Camera
It is not working for me, yet. Very frustrating to use. The camera snaps on the wrong character, fails to zoom out far enough. Camera view can be changed with the Right Mouse Button (which I'm not use to yet), and when viewing the combat zone, the view can be blocked by trees, bushes...etc.

Assigning movement orders is also awkward. For some reason, the camera zooms in on the character I want to move when I expect the camera to stay zoomed out.

Menus
Menu Navigation is, frankly, a pain in the ass requiring more steps than necessary. May be what consoles required. On a PC?.. please go back to DAO/DA2.

Crafting
Never liked it. Always a pain to discover the "RECIPE". A total waste of my time.

In DAI, potion crafting is made much easier. I like it, actually. You still need to gather the materials or recipes.

Weapon/armour crafting is something else. My top complaint is this that the system fails to tell you whether the new armour is better or worse than what you are wearing. . Bioware? How about an indication of what you get BEFORE you decide to go ahead?

In game cut scenes.

Originally, I experienced some video stuttering in the initial scenes. My video card is just above minimum spec., so I was a bit disappointed but not surprised. Then I came across a solution that works for me.
I created the following shortcut in my desktop:

"F:\My Games Installed\DA Inquisition\Dragon Age Inquisition\DragonAgeInquisition.exe" "-GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 40+"
There is a space between ...ion.exe" and "-GameTime....

That is how I launch the game.

BUGS and Idle Animations
. No major bugs found
. Varric disappeared from his tent in Haven, for a while. Also his image failed to show up
while I was flipping characters in the inventory menu.
. some accessories dragged to a slot simply disappear.... especially harsh when they are RARE. happened to Varric and Solas).
. Inquisitor voice used when a companion (Solas for example) is interacting with a NPC .

Animations
. sometimes chars when in idle mode seem to encounter invisible obstacles or decide to stare at a wall or
jump on a merchant's table
. walking animation is bad ... well... they seem to strut... NPCs even Cass...

Storage
Now I explore and pick up everything. Crafting materials are NOT counted. My max slot usage was 22/60. I do sell low level items at merchants' kiosks when I can . I still wish for a storage chest of my very own, though.

********* Summary **********
KB+M controls need improvements.
Inventory management definitely needs improvement.
Tactical AI needs serious improvements.
Exploration is very good
Scenery is awesome
maps are huge
Animals re-spawn.. hell even iron ore re-spawns...

BEEFS
1.Unfamiliar KB+M controls (I come from DAO/DA2 PC experience)
2.poor menu navigation
3.poor inventory management
4. Dumb AI
5. Super small fonts in tool tip menus

Despite the above, I am enjoying the game.
