I'd predict that the metal case, bonus dvd, art book, comic, and of course the game will be worth the $56.65 I paid, whether or not the Cerberus card is for everyone.

To be about the hundreth person to say this, but I got the CE for the bonus DVD and book, I fully expected the additional content to be available for all at some point.

I spent £5 buying the Mass Effect soundtrack because I thought it was excellent, so if I get the ME2 soundtrack (or at least some of it) on the DVD then that's a major plus point.

It sounds like you only bought the CE for the in-game stuff you were gonna get that others didn't and now that a certain amount of people are getting this DLC you're all pissy cause other people have it now.



Sounds like you're completely ignoring the steel case, good cover, and other things that come along with the CE. Grow up and deal with it. Armageddon isn't on us yet.

The point is, you can't blame Bioware for this. Microsoft seems to be bitter about losing Bioware's business to EA, just look at that 'mistake' with RtO, and not so long after the 'mistake' with the ME2 DLC.



It just stinks of conspiracy, to me at least.



Regardless, you can't blame Bioware for it at all. They didn't break release date like many retailers, they didn't tell Microsoft to hand away free merchandise to people, they didn't do anything except make a highly anticipated game with many cool features that, inevitably, everyone tried to screw their way into getting.



If anything, I'd blame EA's marketing department, but even I wouldn't go so far as to yell at them. It's a business, and you need to make money to stay in business. Sorry to the folks who feel cheated (I'm technically one of them, bought the CE off Steam), but it's not doing anyone any good to blast forums hoping to get a Bioware staffer to read it and feel like crap over the situation.

I have to agree with the tc. Thanks a lot bioware I should have just ordered the regular edition and wait to get all the stuff free. Not to mention I missed that whole fiasco so now I will probably have to pay for the dlc. Glad you made it so anyone can get the collectors armor rendering my purchase that much more useless. Perhaps those of us who purchased the ce and didn't dl the free dlc should get something else special. You know to something that actually sets the ce apart in game.

You don't have a signed copy of the comic book, do you?  If you do then there's also the behind the scenes DVD if care about the effort that goes into making games.

Also, if you payed $75 then i'm assuming you payed for overnight shipping which probebly means that you got money to ****** away.  If you didn't think the collector's edition was worth it for the whole pakage then you probebly should bought the standard one.
