Failure To Deliver (Fetch Quest): Can't interact with the package once I find it on the river.

Master of Horses (Intro Quest): Horse isn't there, and I can't mount any other horse in the farm area.

The Vault of Valammar: Despite having the cogs there is no way to activate the door.

I'd love it if someone could show me what I'm doing wrong.. for the life of me I've been at this for hours. I'm pretty sure the Master of Horses quest is actually important, I don't think I can progress through the main story without completing it..

 

I know for a fact I'm not the only one experiencing these problems.. I've cycled the game and my entire system and nothing has worked.

 

I just hope I don't have to restart the entire campaign.

 

 

Addendum: I'm not sure if Dragons are supposed to disappear, but I left the one on the Storm Coast alone until I got leveled up, now it's no where to be found.

Bump. Someone please let me know what you've done to fix this..

Are you on a PC or console?  I know that I had problems with the Valammar cogs, until I realized that I had to hold down my interact button to turn the cogs.  For Master of Horses, have you spoken to everyone?  I can't remember for sure, but the horse might not appear until you speak to the horsemaster, his wife, and the third man....Dorn? who gives you the watchtower quest.

Ty for the response. I'm on PC and believe me I've tried everything.

Only thing left to do is wait for the first patch I guess, it's nice that I know I'm not, crazy seeing other people have these same issues

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that has encountered this bug. This definitely needs to be fixed with a patch.

Hey I kind of found a work around.. after you get the mission go back to Haven, then go to the stables where you select your mount. Your first mount should be available. I haven't been able to test to see if this actually gives you the mount, OR if it puts the mount where it's supposed to be, but it's worth trying.

It happened to me again and I was able to get around it by pressing L3 (search) while being directly on top of it. I didn't test it with this particular mission, but it did help with a mission I did earlier today.

Nope still nothing happens....and i also encountered so many other bugs, so I think bioware need to release a update or patch something like that for all the bugs....

I was having problems with the Master of Horses quest as well. I had killed a pack of crazy wolves in the farm area before talking to Dennett, did a lot of exploring/questing and then came back to that quest. Dennett kept telling me that I had things to do before he would help and this would not trigger other quests so I ignored it and continued on with the main story. Once I got to Skyhold my MC said something regarding I speak with Dennett so we could have horses when I went near the stables. Somehow this fixed things and I was able to go back and talk with Dorn and Elaina to get their quests.

 

So, if you haven't gone to Skyhold yet it seems to have a chance to reset itself when you do.
