So I got to the camp twice with an Inq. Qunari warrior and Mage and went to by the armors for them, each time nothing appeared except my undergarments. Although my basic armors and the Deluxe edition armor still appears. anyone else having this issue?

yeah i got to the same point with an elf and human and their armors load fine, idk how Bioware overlooked such a major graphical issue for consoles (at least most people ive talked to had the issue on 360's and 1's), kinda funny tho being a large horned man and taking out an army of terrified mages in your PJ's tho. just hope they fix it soon

Yes, I'm having this issue on PC, making the game pretty much unplayable for me until it's fixed. I've made 3 separate Qunari mages, got them all to Haven, only to find each time that I can't equip any armor other than the DLC Flames of the Inquisition and the starter armor. Can't wear the inquisition Battlemage set from the shop, did some exploring found some more light armor, that showed as invisible as well. Sounds like this is consistent with all Qunari characters male and female regardless of class. It's a particularly obnoxious bug because you have to be a ways into the game (several hours) before realizing that you will never try on any new clothes for the remainder of your 80+ hour playthrough.

Same issue here too. Even went out of my way to buy Orlesian armor skematics to see what would happen, and it looked like he was wearing a vanguard coat, while everyone else had shiny silve armor, even the mages.

I'd love to see more Qunari players test this out and see if there's some weird thing in the character creation that causes this bug, if it's avoidable, or if it is there no matter what. To people playing Qunari, can you wear armor you buy from vendors or find in the gameworld? or do they show up as the pajamas?
If you don't have this bug, please tell us anything you can about how you made your character, along with gender and class please.

Exactly how i feel! I'm loving the world and look of the game, but i can't play with only one set of equippable armor. It's brutal that this is apparently a universal bug with Qunari. How is this not a giant multi-page thread instead of sexist posts about people not wanting to have sex with the female characters?

My Qunari FMage's armor is showing up fine. The only problem I have is that they think she is also a Trevelyan meaning I can't equip Vitaar.

Okay, Sugarjaye, do you mind testing something? Can you equip the armor you buy in Haven? It's called Inquisition battlemage robes or something like that. I've also had the game not recognize that I'm a Qunari and not let me equip vitaar on one of theFMages i made to test the bug. I think the game's racial flags are tripping crazily for Qunari. Either the game thinks you're a Qunari and doesn't let you equip anything, or it thinks you're a human and won't let you equip Qunari-only items.

Trust me, you don't want to. Vitaar persists through conversations, unlike helmets and also even shows in Skyhold, unlike helmets. So unless you really like that particular design you're stuck with a tattoo you don't want and can't get away from.*
*Unless you choose hide helmet, but I kinda want to see everyone else's helmets.

Well, either way, I want the option to wear vitaar, and i definitely don't want the game flagging my char as a human when I'm a Qunari. Would also like to be able to equip the various different light armor in the game, don't think that's too much to ask.Kurin, does your Qunari have issues wearing armor other than the DLC and the starter armor?

Ok The Battlemage armor doesn't work for me, but all other armor does. It seems to be only that one that doesn't want to work.
As for my Qunari coming up as a human, it seems I get both. I'm recognised as a Qunari and had the mercenary war table quest at the beginning, and then I got the Trevelyan war table quests and even had Josephine asking me what I wanted to do about them at a separate time.
So at the moment i guess I'm just imagining that my Adaar was adopted by Trevelyans.

Hmmm...I have no idea what kinda craziness is going on with Qunari but it does seem like there is a pretty consistent and terrible bug affecting armor which other races don't have. Sugarjaye, do you get other characters referring to you as a Qunari or do they think you're human?

Bumping for extra visibility, please post in this thread if your Qunari cannot equip most sets of armor and/or vitaar (facepaint) and/or are flagged as a different race by NPCs or the UI. Hoping to make this widespread problem known so that we can hopefully get a fix and play with our Qunari characters sooner rather than later.

No thank goodess, they think I'm Qunari. It just seems like it's around that particular quest and when I talk to Josephine, and the being able to equip helmets not Vitaar.

So far I only have this problem with the Battlemage armor you can buy in Haven. No problems with anyone thinking I'm not Qunari though.
I'm slightly worried about continuing now though in case even more armor is invisible later on.

I played a couple of hours in the Hinterlands to test, found one more set of light armor, invisible on my Qunari. I'm with you Bbren, kinda scared to invest more time without knowing if all the armor in the game has this issue. If anyone has a Qunari character that has played far enough to get 3 or 4 sets of armor to test, please let people know, I'm hoping the problem is limited and not an issue with every armor in the game.

This is happening to me as well. I'm only 8 hours in so I haven't seen a ton of armor but the only things that show up on my character are the starting armor, the deluxe armor, and the underwear/casual outfit.

This and on my ps4 atleast it's pixelated as f***, also thanks for replying Apothis the one armour that dose seem to work for me is the DLC one hm this work for anyone else? Oh great for some reason I don't get the Qunari mercenary quest either hm hadn't read about anyone having that problem.Trust me, you don't want to. Some people I know would love this problem especially for female qunari funny huh? But damn that sucks about Josephine.
