What platform are people experiencing this on? I am playing as Qunari Warrior on PC and have never seen this happen.

I've tried to ask @dragonage on twitter if there was any news for a fix a few days ago, but there was no response.

It's been happening to my female qunari mage; I play on Xbox One and the armor ('Inquisition Battlemage Armor' I think it was called) from the starter merchant in Haven doesn't show up when she wears it. I can't comment on later armors though since she's only a wee baby mage at the moment.

Load up your Qunari file or start a new one. Go to Haven, visit the Merchant there, and buy whatever set of the Inquisition Armor that suits your class (Inquisition Foot Soldier for Warrior, Inquisition Scout Armor for Rogue, Inquisition Battlemage Armor for Mages). See if anything resembling armor renders on your Qunari in the preview screen. If not, it's glitched. Buy it anyway and then equip it on your Qunari. You will see it (incorrectly) render your Qunari in their pyjamas/Skyhold outfit.

That's the earliest and easiest example, but many other players have reported finding armor loot later in the game, equipping it, and finding it doesn't render anything but pyjamas - despite not saying anything about race restrictions.

I'm experiencing this bug as well, both on a Male Warrior Qunari, and a Female Rogue Qunari. Playing on PC.

For what it's worth, qunari mages have 1 major advantage over all other racial mages. Because of the way spell damage is derived from weapon damage, wearing vitaar gives them a passive damage boost of about 20%, and if you rolled KE the loss in armor means very little. Qunari mages may not look pretty but they pack more whoop@ss

Hey BioWare? Can we get a word on this? Is this going to be fixed? Can we actually play a Qunari without cringing with every step? You've got them wearing human and elf clothing, a lot of times with awful clipping.  When the armors do fit, they are not in keeping with Qunari lore at all....very disappointing. I guess I'll just play the other races until the modding community fixes this, doesn't seem like you care much.

They could at least open up the templar and warden armors for Qunari.

I resent that, my Qunari mage is extremely pretty AND packs major whoop@ass.

So guys how bad is this bug? How far reaching? Am I going to have absolutely no other options besides the boring coat look for my whole playthrough or are there at least some unique armors that work?

Yep, coat for most of the game, until you get silverite.

Hello there.

Is there any more news about that ? I didn't find where the fix list was (do not care enough to search more than 2 minutes true but it should be stickied here so..) and i don't want to reroll any other race to make do for my first playthrough.

If a community manager could cares enough to address this at least once and tell if there is a fix incoming it would be appreciated.

Will probably ask a refund if no news getting fed up of half arsed games this year so i'll vote with my wallet.

Thanks.

Ps: Maybe they'll rethink the help / release of modding tools for this / their games in the future when they realize that THEY have to fix all the screw ups that the dedicated fanbase usually fix and 10 times faster.

Bioware doesn't seem to want to admit that the other playable races are bugged. Still trying to insist that the elven males AREN'T recycling human animations when they clearly are (and thus are prone to locked elbows and glitchy joints). "It's just that particular armor/arms combo hur dur."

Same bug with my Qunari mage, was inconsistent in the early game and didnt really bother me, only certain armors failing to appear, or armors failing to appear only when I was in haven, or only in the war room for a while, but now no armors show up, wherever I am.

Pretty frustrating, re-rolling a character after 20 hours, but the Qunari pajamas look so darn tight! I dont like looking at them all the time. He should have bought a larger size. :(

I can't believe bioware hasn't acknowledged this bug, or even a forum mod. This is exactly why EA is rated the most despised gaming company. I've contacted both companies on several media sites and they have flat out ignored me.

Seems their motto is: Screw you, got mine.

I for one will no longer buy bioware or EA products if they don't fix this b.s soon.

First time posting to the forums to add my voice to this topic. Really hope this will be fixed soon!

I`m glad my main and first DAI char is dalish, when I made a new qunari alt I started to suspect something was wrong when only 2 armor models showed up where I´d seen more with the elf.

And, while at it...if some of the armor models for qunaris are not missing by a bug but not even done yet, would be nice if they`d make those something more "qunarish" like Iron Bull gets to wear (arrgh, the envy ), more barbarian, less napoletanean, and no pyjamas peeking anywhere ;)

Might even consider showing at least a little bit of skin in at least one of the models...

I'd be satisfied with an official statement, taking our money and giving us practically a beta release is ridiculous.

Also that mask Iron bull can get....damn!

I was bitching to one of my friends in another forum about how betrayed I feel by bioware and how I can't wait for a fix when he tells me there probably won't be one.

Armor design was rushed, like most of the game. Qunari were on the chopping block till the final quarter. All races got the short stick but Qunari got railed. The rationalizing behind it is that since Qunari are rare in Feralden they have limited armor available to them. There may be DLC later to add variety, but you know EA. $$$

They lost me too. I bought dragon age 2 (wich i knew to be garbage and boy it was a really dull experience and one with an important part in a DLC...) to play this one because every website said that the game was a good RPG with a really nice character story if not main plot but they forgot to say how badly it is plagued by bugs. And the Lack of variety really seems to be a Bioware Traitr if you look at every game they made those last years. May it be mass effect or dragon age they have no variety and that clipping ! in 2014 having almost every armor / weapon combinaison being the cause of clipping is shamefull. Especially while their direct concurent as no clipping AND sheathed weapons.

So yeah I had not bought any Bioware game since ME 2 and ill keep ignoring them given the quality of the product that you have.
