Pretty much what the title says. I thought Cullen was female romance only, or has he suddenly discovered he likes the D?

From the videos I've seen, a male can flirt with him a few times, but it will go no further.

My mouse quit responding during the conversation (happens quite often) so I couldn't see the Tone Icons per choice and could only hit the keyboard short cuts to select. I chose an option that didn't sound flirty in response to a statement, turned out it was the flirt one ><

I like having the option.  My lady elfquisitor has flirted with Cass a few times.  But yeah, eventually you'll get rejected.

I actually like it. Pretty life-like. (It's quite funny to get shot down by some of them! "Do you think we could ever..." -- "No." -- "okay.")

I like how you can flirt with people even if they are gated away from you. When I actually get the game I will flirt with my male qunari with Cullen all the time.

That's probably where all the allotted PC dev time went. It was romance or gameplay once they finished with the consoles. Priorities lol

Turns out you can flirt with anyone even if you can't romance them and some will even give you disapproval points for it.

Makes sense.  Your character doesn't know Cullen sexuality even you do.  Actually, there's probably a lot people outside of the forums who are going into the game not knowing the companion's gender preferences.
